Too many stairs
We had a major flood in livingroom floor when we woke after the first night, texted pictures and called, however no one came till 3 days later, the light and fan didn’t work in the utility room, no one ever fixed that, and have to haul your luggage up 6 flights!

Disappointed
First, finding this place was tricky, with the gps coordinates taking us to a school one block away. Better directions might state that it is located on the corner of East London St and Annandale St at the traffic circle. I emailed several times before our stay asking for clarification about charges and basic instructions like where to get the key, as there was no proactive communication from Joivy. I received what appeared to be a “welcome” email the night before we left, after 4 nights, providing instruction on how to use the tv, thermostat, washer, etc and check out instructions like where to take the garbage, only it didn’t note that the garbage cans would not be in the back of the car park the day we left. Certainly not “hotel quality”; both bathrooms were dirty with extensive mold in the showers. The ventilation in both is practically nonexistent and the hall bathroom door doesn’t stay open without a prop. The en suite shower has water running out into the floor when in use and water getting under the floor tiles. There are no king size beds, though the listing states there are two. There was one queen, one twin and two twins pushed together, leaving a gap, and are lumpy. In the bedroom with the single twin bed, was a directors chair with no back on it. The red couch is actually extremely worn. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place at this time and am hopeful it receives the cleaning and maintenance one would expect when paying this price for a place to stay.
