Beautiful Arts & Crafts Country House retaining its 1910 charm and original features but recently refurbished. Surrounded by large garden, rewilded field (about 8 acres) and beautiful countryside. Easy access to footpaths. Close to Robertsbridge, Battle and Hastings, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, drawing room, dining room, family room and large kitchen

The space
Four reception rooms including a fully equipped, spacious kitchen, dining room with open fireplace, large living room with wood burner and a family room with double aspect windows, wood flooring throughout (mainly oak). Five bedrooms (one ensuite) 3 bathrooms and downstairs lavatory.
Outside there are patio areas with tables and seating and a barbecue. The large garden has lawns, mature trees and shrubs and a young orchard. There is a field with a goal on it for football practice.
The kitchen is new and fully fitted with Dishwasher, Everhot 3-oven stove ,4-ring induction hob and hot cooking plate. There is also a microwave.
Oil-fired central heating throughout with each floor separately programmable.
TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, Wifi, bluetooth Sonos speakers in kitchen and family room.
Fresh bedlinen, towels and soaps provided.
Wood, kindling and firelighters for the open fire and wood burner provided

The house sleeps 10 people and there is also a cot that works best in Bedroom 1 or Bedroom 2

Guest Access
Guests have access to the whole house and garden. We do keep 2 sheds and a garden room locked.
Other things to note
We have 3 cats who have access to the house-there is a cat flap in the kitchen. They are fed outside (during your stay by Andrew our part-time gardener who lives nearby). The cats are used to dogs as we have whippets. If you wish to bring a dog or dogs that should be fine provided they are ok with cats but please let us know before you book.
