From Llanuwchllyn railway station, take a scenic journey on the Bala Lake Railway, a narrow-gauge heritage railway that winds along the shores of Bala Lake. Castell Carndochan is a historic ruin perched on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Arenig Fawr, a challenging yet rewarding hike, leading to the summit of Arenig Fawr, where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping vistas of Snowdonia.
