2 Bdrm 2 bath in Heart of SLC!

This is the main floor of a mother in law home. This main level floor is 1200 square feet, and built in the 1920s. For bigger groups or more space you can rent the whole home, main floor and basement. Making total 2400 square feet, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Enter with keyless lock code. Two bedrooms, with plenty of closet space. Clean linens and towels provided. Furnace and central air and fans throughout the home. Two full bathrooms. En suite bathroom for master bedroom has a large shower. The second bathroom double vanity and shower with tub. Shampoo and body soap are provided. Full dine in kitchen with all your cooking needs. Coffee and tea provided. Living room has a three wonderful couches to lounge on. One couch that has a pull out queen size bed and other that can be folded flat into a full. Also have a pack and play if needed. Fiber internet, with up to 1,000 Mbps. Television in living room has streaming Netflix,Disney+,HULU,ESPN,Paramount, and more. Washer and dryer. Laundry detergent provided. Iron and ironing board in first bedroom closet. We ask on departure that the guest run the dishwasher, run used towels in washer and to take out garbage. This helps with a lower cost from the cleaning service that comes.
Available parking in private garage and driveway. Access to front porch for good people watching and back yard.

Great hosts and great location

We were in town for a U of U event, so this location was ideal. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, which led to a very smooth check-in and check-out process. The house was well-stocked and accurate with the VRBO listing. The home was clean and comfortable. We will rebook for future trips to SLC.

Great location, close to the airport and downtown. Nice neighborhood, perfect for a family. David was very responsive. Would definitely reccomend if you are in SLC.

The house was amazing, very clean and had everything we needed. There was no reason to bring any supplies. We only rented the upstairs mother in-law quarters. But I look fwd to bringing more family members and renting the whole house.

Not a home away from home!!

The owner was not accurate in his description... I lived close enough to the property to run and get essential items as in kitchen towels, dish rags, cutting board...this place was not well equipped for it to be a home away from home and was not a clean place. The home had a very old musty smell and I had to run and gather candles so we could tolerate staying there. I took pics of fridge, stove beds, windows, front porch...was dirty! all in all this place was a huge disappointment and I would advise customers to steer clear... 2 of my guests wouldn't sleep downstairs because of a mold smell... We didn't use any of the showers or tubs on eith er level because of the uncleanliness!!!! I would like a refund!

The aesthetic of the unit was beautiful. The manager/owner was very open and communicated well with us. The check in was so simple and convenient. The unit was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Great Experience

We rented this property for a quick overnight girls trip and it was perfect. The location was conveniently located and only minutes away from all our destinations. The house was clean and comfortable and David and Christina were perfect hosts :)

You get what you pay for

Ok place to stay in SLC. Inside was fairly up to date for an old home. Outside was run down and porch very dirty - probably reason no pictures of outside of home in listing. Found coffee pot full of coffee and grounds. There is some one living in apartment below 1st floor that were noisy late at night. Price was very good. Owner communicated well a long list of requirements do’s and don’t - no wearing shoes in house, don’t touch the thermostat, etc. Did not send entry code until 2 hours before checking time. No paper towels so bring your own. I guess you get what you pay for.

Nice, cozy getaway

The house is clean, cozy, and perfect for family of five. Love the neighborhood, comfortable and safe to take walks in the evenings. It’s near a quiet medical center and close to most attractions, like 5-10 min from temple square. Would stay again.

Very charming and well kept home to stay in while visiting Salt Lake City, UT.

My wife and I were very happy with first experience using Home Away. The owner was very cordial, and very organized. The first day we were there, the owner called and checked in with us. What we were mostly surprised about was the availability of toiletries and other odds and ends that we weren’t expecting to be there for usage.

The home was nicely equipped with all the conveniences of home. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy dinner together and sleep in comfort. The garage was a nice perk as it was a snowy few days.

Wonderful craftsman cottage near University!

We rented this property to be near the University Medical Centers & it was so convenient. The house is an old craftsman cottage w some expected quirkiness, but so charming & well maintained it was a pleasure to be there. The entire house has been updated & is as pictured. It is walking distance to some restaurants & stores & on a tree lined street within a neighborhood of older homes. David & Christina have been attentive owners & helped us w details & questions. This is a great rental for visiting the city or the University.
