The Bauman's Hillside Hideaway is amazingly spacious, amenity rich 5-bedroom 3.5 bath Rustic home in a private/wooded setting in Ste. Genevieve County. With accommodations for up to 16 guests, this unique property is great for couples, families, friends, business retreats & mastermind sessions and small gatherings. Featuring a staggering 40' private in-ground heated swimming pool, hot tub, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, fire pit, outdoor kitchen and endless indoor/outdoor activities. This home truly offers a one-of-a-kind experience.

This property is only 7 miles from historic downtown Ste. Genevieve & only 7 - 15 mile drive through rolling hills to wine country. It can comfortably sleep 11 guests in beds (2 King rooms, 2 Queen rooms, 1 room with 2 twin's & 1 of the twins has a trundle). We also have 3 roll away beds & 2 full size baby beds that can be put in some of the larger bedrooms and/or in common areas. It is great for all types of travelers! If you're in need of a calm relaxed getaway you could soak in the hot tub and listen to your favorite music, go out on the deck to do yoga while collecting your thoughts and breathing the fresh country air, catch a nice tan in the pool laid back on the chaise lounge chair with the water from the bubblers lightly splashing you to keep you cool, or just simply poor a glass of wine, snuggle up on the comfy couch with a big fire in the fireplace and watch your favorite movie on the big screen with surround sound while your supper is out in the smoker. Or you may just have competitive family and friends and want to compete in a tournament playing horseshoes, sand volleyball, darts, washers, ping pong and pool, while grandpa cooks his mouth-watering steaks on the grill. In the mornings you can have your hot cup of coffee out on the deck before the rest of the world awakes watching the birds and squirrels playing, or the super comfortable mattresses may talk you in to staying in bed till lunch. (WARNING) If you are looking for some place to be bored with nothing to do and be uncomfortable while not doing it, this may not be the place for you!

Bedrooms have a 32" smart TV with DISH (only 4 bedrooms), Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, etc. The Main level of the home has 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub/shower & custom cedar/barn wood vanity. A very large fully-equipped kitchen with a raised bar island with seating for 3, Custom made River table with seating for 8, 32" smart TV and a Sonos speaker, flows right into the living room that has a beautiful 18' tall fireplace made out of stone brought from the rocky mountains of Colorado , a 60" smart TV, Sonos surround system with Alexa, sectional, 2 recliners & access to all of the outdoor features.

There is a beautiful cedar staircase that takes you to the 2nd story loft that has access to upper deck w/ hot tub, laundry room, master bedroom, 2 additional bedrooms with a shared (Jack & Jill) full bathroom. The cozy master bedroom has a private bath with a walk in 2-person stone/tile shower & private access to the upper deck.

The temperature controlled over-sized garage has a pool table, Ping-Pong table, darts, washers, Sonos speaker, commercial ice maker and a 1/2 bath. From the garage you have direct access to all of the great Outdoor features which include cooking area equipped with gas grill and pellet smoker.

POOL!!!! 40' heated inground fiberglass pool, 6' 5" at deep end with 2 deep end bench seats, the shallow end features an 7' long Tanning ledge (9" depth) with 2 in-water chaise lounge chairs and 3 bubbler jets. It is also equipped with a KEYED automatic pool cover that takes less than a minute to open and close which makes using the pool a breeze and if you are traveling with small children this is a great safety feature!

The Sonos Speaker system is the icing on the cake for this property! You can connect your own playlist or use the available music services we provide, play different music on each individual speaker simultaneously or group them to enjoy the same song on all. Given that the property is so private you can turn the music up to max volume and it won't bother anyone!!
