Furnished with granite worktops, a wine cooler and large table seating up to eight guests, it is the ideal space for a long family dinner after a day on the beach. Of particular note is a convenient ground floor bedroom with an adjacent shower room absolutely perfect for anyone who prefers a ground floor room. On the first floor is a kingsize bedroom, a pretty twin room and a large walk-in shower room.

Tughall Steads is a small coastal hamlet, a former farm steading and close to Beadnell and Newton-by-the-Sea beaches. The area here is surrounded by fabulous walks along miles of golden sandy beaches and dunes peppered with castles and friendly villages. Alnwick with the majestic castle is only a few miles’ drive where you can discover the cobbled streets and visit the castle used in some Harry Potter and Downton Abbey scenes.

Seahouses is a quaint seaside town with a working harbour, offering boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the bird sanctuary and spot seals and puffins. Northumberland beaches are unspoilt, and you can always find an empty beach along this wonderful Heritage coastline. This friendly county is voted one of the best in England to holiday and you can always be sure of a warm, genuine welcome from the locals.
