Lovely accommodation and well placed for all local attractions, with Edinburgh only an hour !The property was very well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds were exceptionally comfortable with quality linens.

The property is very well equipped, clean and tidy . Good shower plenty of hot water and heating. The main drawback for us personally was the very hard mattress in the main bedroom, the second double bedroom mattress was similar .The location is good for seeing Holy Island and also the Scottish borders but the A1 is a very busy road and was quite noisy. Northumberland is a beautiful county and well worth a visit.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Seafarers Cottage and would highly recommend it. Very comfortable and cosy. Super location and the cottage contained everything we needed. We especially liked seeing the local hedgehog coming to visit every night!

Wondeful spacious house close to Holy Island

We were very pleased with the house, how much room there was, it's location and facilities. All was wonderful. We loved been so close to Holy Island and the other amazing beaches. Best part was we had a week of sunshine. Highly recommended this property.

Splendid Seafarer's Cottage

We had a fantastic stay here during Feb half term. It was so convenient to pop out to lots of places and having somewhere warm, clean and well equipped was fantastic. Highly recommend choosing this as a holiday destination if you like lots of days out. Perfect for us - thank you to the owners and cleaners.

Holy Island holiday

Fantastic property in a great location for everything we wanted to do. My only complaint is the check in time is slightly too late and check out time is certainly too early as we had to strip the bed and bag up all the towels we used before we left.

Thank you for your lovely review. I'm sorry about the times, but they were introduced at the request of our cleaning team during Covid, as they were deep cleaning each of the houses they service and it was taking longer than usual. Check in and out times will be going back to after 4pm and by 10 am now that the worst does seem to be over.

Beautiful well a appointed cottage, lovely setting with a local shop and café. Shallows nesting in eves was a great bonus. Great position for walks and touring out from.
