Our place is in the center of the action, located literally on the slopes (true ski in/ski out). You can ski/ride down to the main American Eagle lift from our owners' locker room. The American Flyer lift is next to the Eagle lift, so you have access to both sides of the mountain from this juncture. The beginner's magic carpet area is just outside the lobby door. Our location is adjacent to Burning Stones Plaza and just a stroll away from all of Copper's Center Village restaurants and amenities.

Our location makes it easy to be the first up the lift in the morning, take a break at the condo over lunch, stop in and change clothes as the day warms up, then stop back in and freshen up before hitting the Village for apres ski. Or, you may decide to relax at the condo, in front of the fireplace and 60' TV, with spectacular views of the SKY Chutes and Ten Mile Range from the living room windows.

Our unit is an oversized one bedroom (872 square feet) that sleeps four adults comfortably (two queen-sized beds in the bedroom) - there is also a sleeper sofa in the living room that is great for kids, which can extend the sleeping capacity up to a maximum of six. The bedroom has its own private balcony. The kitchen is fully-equipped, with professional series appliances - convection oven, smooth-top stove, hood/microwave, ice maker/refrigerator, wine cooler, dishwasher, and everything else you may need. The dining area and living area are open and comfortable. The living room has a gas fireplace and a view of the SKY chutes of the Ten Mile Range. We have a 60' flatscreen TV in the living room, with a large array of cable channels.

Spruce Lodge has a common area indoor hot tub and sauna, with adjoining shower/toilet facilities. Next to the spa area is an outdoor patio on the ski slopes, with a gas grill/dining area for guest use.

The Summit Stage stop (free transport to the other Summit County resorts, including Breckenridge, Frisco, and Keystone) is a short stroll through the Village. You can explore the other aspects of Summit County - restaurants, shopping, sightseeing - without worrying about driving, or parking.

Copper Mountain has previously been awarded 'Best All-Around Mountain' in Outside Traveler Magazine. It has been voted 'Locals' Favorite' many years running. Experience this resort from the convenience of our slopeside condominium!

The Financial Particulars: A one-time $125 cleaning charge is assessed on all stays. There is also a $300 damage deposit required, which is returned when unit is vacated in satisfactory condition. And, of course, there are taxes. Part of life. . .

Deposit/Cancellation Policy: Fifty percent (non-refundable unless the unit is re-rented) is due when the reservation is made; the remainder is due 45 days before arrival (again, non-refundable unless re-rented). Please get trip insurance - we can arrange for this for you as well (cost is about 7.5% of total).

About Leslie

We've been fans of Copper for many years, and always hoped to find a condo that was right on the ski hill, at the main Eagle lift, and in the Village. This is it!

Why Leslie chose Copper Mountain

Spruce Lodge is uniquely situated right on the ski slope. It's a small building, with its own underground parking. We appreciate the fact that, although it's right in the Village, we don't have any shops or restaurants in our building, so it's quiet and smell-free; however, all of Copper's amenities are just steps away. The building is a concrete-composite, so you don't hear boots clumping as much as you would in the newer developments. Our condo is a corner unit with a balcony that looks out on the SKY chutes.

What makes this condo unique

Our unit is an over-sized one-bedroom (872 sq. ft.), which has two queen-sized beds in the bedroom, a queen-sized sofa sleeper, and plenty of room left over! We have a 60' flatscreen TV in the living room, new tile in the bathroom, and new carpet throughout. The kitchen is large, with all new commercial-grade appliances. We love the fact that we can enjoy the serenity of Ten Mile Canyon out our window, then step out in the morning right onto the ski hill, with the American Eagle lift just outside the door.

Perfect location, very nice flat

This is exactly as described and pictured. It is in a perfect location to both the slopes and the village. There is a ski locker on the ground level that opens up directly to the piste,only 10 steps away. Could not be more convenient. The flat itself is nice, having been recently updated in the kitchen and the bath. The building is older, but it is in fine shape. Leslie is an awesome host, very communicative and helpful. Outstanding experience!!

Fun & enjoyable weekend as we've had for the lady 4 yrs

Leslie's an excellent owner/hostess. She responds in a timely way either by email or phone. She goes above & beyond every year so that we can continue to stay here. Love the convenient location of her place to our weekend event. Love what she's done remodeling the condo. It's perfect for 2-3 couples or a small family. We hope to return again as long as we're able. Thank you Leslie for your hospitality &?kindness. God bless you & your family.

Great property, amazing owner

This owner went well out of her way to make our ski vacation special. We corresponded about equipment rental, lift tickets, dining, and other activities to do. She mailed everything we needed in advance and responded to questions nearly immediately every time. She even collected BOGO lift ticket coupons and sent them to us! As for the location, the unit is ski in/ski out from a blue trail. If you're looking for green runs, the closest is about a 100 yard walk so not bad. The side of the mountain where the beginner area/ski school is located is accessed by bus which is right out front of the condo. Ski rental was literally a 2 min walk and dining options were close by as well. The free bus to Frisco is nice as thats really the best option for groceries. The unit was nice and very clean but shows signs of age, especially the kitchen cabinets. Everything worked fine and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were good, not great, but after skiing all day, I could have slept standing up. The living/dining area was good with a great TV and ample seating, the only thing missing was a recliner or ottoman to put your feet up. The pull out sofa was as advertised, recommended for children. The unit stayed warm our entire trip. We never used the fireplace and in fact the only time we touched the thermostat was to turn the heat down! I'm a general contractor and I can tell you that this building is well built and apparently extremely well insulated. The locker room was very handy and opened directly to the ski area requiring only a 40 foot walk up a slight hill. The laundry facilities in the building were fine. We didn't drive a car but did see the garage on the first level (when we took out the trash) and its enclosed and well lit with plenty of room for parking if you have the hang tag. We used a van service to/from the airport and glad we did as the road conditions were pretty bad the day we left (20"+ snow our last 2 1/2 days!). We intend to return to Copper and if available, we'll stay in this unit again. Accommodations 4 stars, host 5+ stars

Our property is truely ski in/ski out. In fact, you can strap on your skis/snowboard outside our locker room, and ski down to the main Eagle high-speed lift which will whisk you to the many bowl lifts and lodge atop the mountain, or you can glide to the Magic Carpet beginners' area (where you can watch your kids learn to ski from just outside our door). All Village restaurants are just steps away from our building, which faces Burning Stones Plaza. It is the best location in Copper Mountain!

There is a $300 damage deposit required, which is returned when unit is vacated in satisfactory condition. We have a STRICT NO PETS AND NO SMOKING POLICY due to my son's allergies. There will be no refund for cancellations within 45 days or less of the Commencement Date. Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to the Commencement date will forfeit 50% of reservation payment.
