Short trip

Apartment is in a great location near some excellent bars and restaurants with a bus stop nearby too. Nick was great at maintaining contact quickly resolved any queries.

A few days before my departure to Cyprus, the owner cancelled part of my booking. I had reminded him several times about the additional reservation, but despite this, he failed to process it. Very careless and unacceptable. It caused unnecessary stress, and as a result, I had to make an extra booking elsewhere and move during my stay.The apartment has everything you need and offers a beautiful view.However, it is located next to a busy road, so it is very noisy when sitting on the balcony. There is also ongoing construction work nearby, which is clearly audible.A few minor repairs are needed. The bedroom window is hanging partly loose, and the sliding door to the balcony cannot be locked, which would have made me feel more secure. The blue shutters are also difficult to open, and several hooks are loose here and there.Upon arrival, the duvet was dirty. After I reported it, it was replaced quickly.I found one cockroach, but fortunately that was the only one.Overall, I had a decent stay, but I would not recommend this accommodation.I will not be returning for a second stay.

To clarify, I did not cancel any part of your original booking. After your reservation was confirmed, you requested an additional night. I advised that this should be possible, but before the extension could be processed another guest booked those dates. As a result, I was unable to extend your stay. Your original reservation remained unchanged throughout. The apartment was professionally cleaned and thoroughly checked before your arrival. When you reported an issue with the duvet, it was replaced immediately. Unfortunately, the apartment was not left in a similar condition on departure. A kettle had been damaged, broken glass was placed at the back of a cupboard rather than reported, unwashed dishes were returned to cupboards, food was left on worktops and around the fridge, and the rubbish bin was overflowing. Photographs were taken and supplied to VRBO. The apartment is not located directly on a main road. Between the property and the road are bungalows, a swimming pool and a restaurant. Any nearby construction activity is beyond my control. I am pleased you enjoyed the views and facilities, but it is important that future guests have an accurate account of the circumstances.
