We invite you to our home, Casa Dia, where you can enjoy the combination of authentic Mexican architecture and flavor with the finest of upscale amenities.
The three-bedroom home features Mexican tile, beautifully handcrafted stonework, lush gardens and fruit trees, and spacious rooms (both indoor and outdoor) that create a rich, relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy waking up to the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and falling asleep at night lulled by the rhythm of the waves. And in between, the beach is just a five-minute walk away.
Casa Dia is located in Las Tunas, the nicest neighborhood in Todos Santos. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, it’s only a five-minute walk to the beach. Take a five-minute drive into the Pueblo Magico to grab a fish taco or peruse the many art galleries. While you’re in town, pick up some fresh fish and cook up a feast in our fully equipped kitchen. Or fire up our propane barbecue grill for a delicious dinner!
Enjoy whale watching from the shaded courtyard, or relax in the outdoor shower after surfing at La Pastora (five minutes away). Watch the sunset from the roof deck or the master bedroom’s private terrace.
In addition to the three bedrooms and spacious living areas, there is a dedicated office upstairs. Check your e-mail (or surf reports) from your laptop with Wireless Internet or sunbathe on the roof deck and then stroll through the lush gardens and pick fresh mangos, pomegranates, bananas, or avocados. Relax in the comfort and beauty of Casa Dia.
We have a porta-crib for families with little ones, and feel free to use the beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach umbrellas.
We invite you to enjoy the magic …
We stayed at Casa Dia for four nights we loved every day that we stayed there the house is well thought out we loved the neighborhood and Todos Santos is a unique town I dont know why anyone would want to stay in a hotel after staying in a place like this. Thanks for the stay
We were immediately in love with the house from the moment we drove up. It's comfortable, spacious, and really carries the spirit of Baja from within and throughout the property. We spent a lot of time out on excursions but always looked forward to coming back home to relax at the house!
We had a delightful time, and the house was just as described. The property manager was especially helpful. We were totally pleased!
All the reviews do not do this place justice. It is relaxing, convenient, private. I rent lots of houses from vrbo for a variety of destinations so I pretty well have it down pat on the type of place that would make one happy. This is a lovely home that is comfortable so you feel you are not afraid to actually live in it as you would in your own home. Todos Santos itself is magical and this home adds to the whole experience. You must have a car (use BBB rentals they are trustworthy and will not rip you off) in order to get around as it is a bit outside of town which makes it better. There is a great manager that is next door who is just great ..leaves you in privacy but is there when you need him. You may be looking at other rentals for more or for less...don't bother, just book Casa Dia now and save yourself the bother of looking elsewhere.Well worth every penny. Also, the owner himself is very responsive to email questions which is nice.
We spent a wonderful 10-day Christmas holiday at Casa Dia. We arrived after hours and were met by the on-site manager, Erik, who walked us through the entire house. He was very thorough, and although he was available any time to answer questions, we never needed him. the house is tastefully done with plenty of wide, open views to the ocean--a five minute walk away. Our family likes to read, and there was an impressive assortment of books--including travel information---to choose from. We had many of our meals at the house--most on the patio, with the ocean and fantastic sunsets in the distance. The kitchen had everything we needed, and fresh, organic produce was available a short drive away. We followed the owner's recommendations for shops, markets and restaurants and were never disappointed. Although Cabo San Lucas is only 1-1/2 hours away, we never spent any time there. We found Todos Santos had everything and was a much more authentic Mexican town. It was a very peaceful getaway, and we highly recommend Casa Dia. As our 29-year-old daughter put it: "I tried to stay forever, but my parents made me leave."
My husband and I drove down to Todos Santos in our Airstream trailer. Our daughters and son-in-law flew in to Los Cabos, and we spent 10 days together in Casa Dia. The Days kindly let us park the Airstream in the roomy driveway. It was the perfect combination of rest and adventure. We loved whale-watching from the deck. Eric, the property manager, connected us with a fisherman. We caught 4 Mahi-mahis and ate them for days. Other highlights were the beach at Los Cerritos for swimming, the beach in front of the house for baby turtle release, an in-home mezcal tasting, and a day trip to La Paz to swim with the whale sharks and dolphins. Lots of cute restaurants downtown Todos Santos. As a change of pace, we walked across the road from Casa Dia to a delightful Italian restaurant. The house is perfect for relaxing. It is very well-appointed. The master bedroom upstairs is perfect!
The Todos Santos Music Festival is in January, and the Todos Santos Film Festival is in February. Todos Santos has many other festivals throughout the year.
