Amazing Views - OCEANFRONT 1/2 Duplex!

We are "locals" in Emerald Isle, and pleased to host you in our cozy oceanfront home, Sea Star. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, a fun gathering place for the family, or an exciting fishing destination, Sea Star is the place to be! This lovely sea cottage features two separate sides for individual families, or you may book both sides for large groups!

Each side sleeps 9 guests in 4 spacious bedrooms, and each side has two full baths, one downstairs and one upstairs. Kitchens have full amenities, and the quaint furnishings & breezy colors bring the essence of the seashore inside! Each side has 3 large flat-screen TVs with Spectrum TV cable and high-speed internet.

In addition to being just steps from the surf, Sea Star boasts million-dollar views from both deck-levels. You will enjoy hours of relaxation on the expansive decks below, and some upstairs bedrooms offer sliding glass doors with a deck, tall viewing chairs and unmatched vistas of the sparkling sands and crystal water. Sip a glass of wine from the upper deck as the sun sets, then create a masterpiece in the kitchen - with freshly-caught local seafood, of course!

This was our first family vacation in Emerald Isle, so we weren’t familiar with the area or didn’t know what to expect. Hosts were very welcoming and excellent with communication! We really enjoyed having the beach as our backyard. The house truly offers a beautiful view- we even got to see dolphins while drinking our morning coffee on the balcony! Kitchen was stocked with more than enough cooking essentials. Great location, close to grocery stores and so many restaurants.Overall, great experience, and we recommend this house! Thank you, Max and Sophie, for having us!

We loved the house! Walking the beach every morning was a dream. The kitchen was stocked well. The beds were comfortable. Questions were answered quickly. We ended up bringing our own sheets and towels but rental sheets and towels were available. We had neighbors over the weekend who we only heard when they were at the beach. We ate at Fish Hut Grill- The boiled shrimp was perfect as well as a homemade Black Bean Burger! Lazzara's Pizza and Subs had wonderful vegan pizza! Sol Bowls had great smoothies and Acai Bowl choices. We did a boat trip to Bird Shoal. People brought their own chairs. We walked the beach and found a few bigger shells than what we found in front of the rental. We did see two wild horses as leaving! We would happily stay at this house again! Coming from Kansas, the ocean is a special treat!

Amazing Great Views

Had a wonderful time staying here! I love Emerald Isle and this property was great! The owners were wonderful to work with and you can't beat being on the Oceanfront with the great views and relaxing atmosphere.

Our stay on Emerald Island was wonderful. There are lots of fun things to do in addition to walking the beautiful beach. Our stay was made perfect by staying at Sea Star. Relaxing!

Very clean and perfect for our needs; nice and comfortable. Right on the beach, quiet, uncrowded. Good food and shopping only 2-3 miles away. Hosts were very communicative. Check in was super easy.

Perfect beach house

This place was perfect for my family and our three little girls. Being right on the beach was key!! We could run up and back for breaks whenever. The house was comfortable and the porch fantastic. Will definitely book again.

Great experience

We enjoyed our time at Sea Star - everything was as described and in good shape. Location on the beach is terrific, and it's convenient to various island amenities. Beds were comfortable and the 'in case you forgot something" basket in the downstairs bathroom was a nice touch. The owner was very communicative, responded quickly to questions, and provided guests with helpful information about the area.

Wonderful Week!

We had a wonderful trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Helen was very communicative (even offering ideas for activities) and very responsive to any concerns. Rented bikes and rode all over the island, which was our favorite! Also enjoyed the gorgeous views from both balconies. A great get-away!

Wonderful Beach House for multi-generation family stay!

The beach house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The storage room under the house full of beach toys, chairs, games, and an umbrella was a pleasant surprise. We made good use of the laundry room and grill. Overall a lovely property in a very quiet stretch of EI but still only a quick drive to the restaurants and stores.

Exactly what we needed!

Sea Star is a wonderful properity, with excellent hosts. The location is really incredible, on the beach in 1 minute, great views at night with the multiple decks. It's exactly as described in the posting, very clean, everything you need is there. The owners do a wonderful job communicating before during, and after your stay. We look forward to returning.

Fun at Seastar W

We really enjoyed our stay. Actually it was the perfect getaway.It was furnished with everything we needed. I liked the "pay it forward basket" touch. We met Max, who was a delightful host. He replaced the older coffee maker with a new one. He was so kind and hospitable. The duplex was very clean. Definitely a place I would stay again and recommend.

Perfect beach getaway!

Perfect week at the beach - beautiful view of the ocean, well maintained and spacious beach, in a quiet part of the island but just a short drive from everything you need. The house was wonderfully decorated, maintained, and equipped. Had several questions for the host leading up to the trip and it was never more than 15 minutes for a response. Fantastic experience, I'll be coming back next year!
