A great place to stay, very modern and new. Facilities just met our requirement,Bunratty was a very good base to cover this part of Ireland. Village and local bars in easy walking distance. Very handy for Shannon airport.

Bunratty cottage

Comfortable and clean. We had 8 adults and we all enjoyed this space. Plenty of room. Close enough to walk to Bunratty Castle and park, which we did.

We stayed at this townhouse in Bunratty from September 17 - 23. It was booked thru VRBO, so we had good confidence in the accuracy of the listing. Caroline, the manager met us upon check-in and provided a tour of the unit, plus good tips for the area. Caroline was especially kind and assisted us when we needed roadside assistance for a tire blow-out! Our travel group included 4 "seniors" and we were very comfortable, but the stairs to the sleeping rooms were challenging for our age group. There was plenty of room to store clothing and necessities in the first floor areas. It was also a pleasant space for our morning coffee and unwinding time in the evenings. A washer & dryer are under the stairway. A private outdoor area provided a patio and picnic table, but we did not have a need to use that space. This townhouse is located in a small neighborhood of like homes, and was very quiet. The immediate area was an easy walk to local dining, shopping, and castle attractions. We had a rental car and made day-trips from Bunratty, using some of Caroline's recommendations. We were very pleased with this rental property and communication with the host/manager.
