Maison typique du pays, 160m², 2000m² de terrain plat devant la maison, située à 21 km de Briançon, dans la Vallée de la Clarée pour les amoureux de la nature et de la montagne en quête d’évasion.
On the ground floor the house is completely renovated over 80 m², underfloor heating, living room with fireplace, double sofa, television, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub and Italian shower, toilet, travertine floor, arched ceilings. 'Ancient. The house will allow you a comfortable rest!
Upstairs, 1 large bedroom (2 double beds + 1 double sofa bed, sleeping 6) + 2 bedrooms with double bed (sleeping 4), 1 bathroom with shower and toilet, towel dryer. Electric radiator heating.
Equipment: dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, espresso coffee maker and filter coffee maker, toaster, kettle, raclette grill and fondue sets for 16 people, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, drying rack, TV, Bluetooth speaker , fireplace in the living room (wood available in the garden shed), deck chairs, outdoor tables and chairs, duvet for each bed and pillows, no Wifi yet.
Bed linen supplies (fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases) on request and at an additional cost of €6/person.
Cleaning done by the tenant at the end of the stay or by us on request and at an additional cost for a flat rate of €120.

House of our family from the country, renovated in 2018. We have a cross built on the mountain with its history: “It owes its elevation to a modest farmer living in the hamlet of Sallé: Marcelin CARAIL. born in Névache in 1861. Married to Marie Anne Adèle Faure, they raised 8 children. He is very religious and in 1900, when one of his young daughters fell very seriously ill, seeking help from religion, he vowed to plant a cross on the promontory which, 1000 meters higher, faces his house. One morning, pickaxe in hand, carrying the wooden cross he had made, he climbed the steep slope, in order to erect it on the small summit. The fulfillment of this wish, although unfortunately not enough to save his daughter who died shortly after, nevertheless left a lasting mark on the Nevache landscape.
In 1938 Marcelin Carail died, the witness of his piety bears his name. This cross is now not only part of the local heritage, but it appears on topographical maps. Today, the wrought iron cross which has just been sealed has replaced an old wooden cross which, in the 1970s, had succeeded the original cross.
