The Space:
Welcome to your Costa del Sol retreat, a charming two-bedroom townhouse set within a peaceful and secure community in Sitio de Calahonda. With a private outdoor space, access to a large communal pool, and everything within walking distance, this home is perfectly suited for a relaxed coastal stay.
The private garden terrace is a standout feature, offering a comfortable space to unwind outdoors. It includes lounge seating, an outdoor dining area, and a gas barbecue, making it ideal for enjoying meals in the sunshine or relaxing in the evenings.
Inside, the house is bright, functional, and well maintained. It features two air-conditioned bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, comfortably accommodating up to four guests. The living area includes a comfortable sofa and Smart TV, while the kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay. A full bathroom, fast Wi-Fi, and air conditioning throughout ensure a comfortable experience.
While some furnishings are simple and traditional, the property is clean, practical, and designed to provide everything needed for an easy and enjoyable stay.
The gated urbanisation offers well-kept communal gardens and a large shared salt water (better to swim in and kinder to your hair and skin!) swimming pool with sunbeds and an outdoor shower, providing a great space to cool off and relax. The pool is open year round though note, in winter months when it's cold it is NOT heated and may not be usable.
The location is one of the key highlights. Situated in the heart of Calahonda, you can walk to the beach in around ten minutes, with shops, cafés, supermarkets, and restaurants just five minutes away. A nearby bus route connects you to Marbella, La Cala de Mijas, and Fuengirola, making it easy to explore the Costa del Sol.
Guest Access:
Guests have full and exclusive use of the entire house, including the private terrace, for the duration of their stay.
The communal gardens and swimming pool are shared with other residents and are maintained to a good standard. The pool is available to use year round, but please be sure to read and stick to the community guidelines when using it and respect the neighbours, some of whom live there year round. The pool is a salt water pool, much better and kinder to your skin and hair!
The Neighborhood:
The house is located in Sitio de Calahonda, a popular area of Mijas Costa known for its convenience and relaxed coastal atmosphere. The property is just moments from a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer without needing to travel far.
The beach is approximately a ten-minute walk away, and the surrounding area offers a mix of beach clubs, casual dining, and scenic coastal walks. Calahonda is ideally positioned between Marbella and Fuengirola, making it a great base for exploring both destinations as well as nearby La Cala de Mijas.
Getting Around:
Getting around is simple and convenient from this location. The property includes a private parking space, and there are also a limited number of communal spaces, along with free street parking nearby.
A local bus route is located approximately five to ten minutes’ walk away, providing connections to Marbella, La Cala de Mijas, and Fuengirola. With most amenities within walking distance, a car is not essential but can be useful for exploring the wider area.
Other Things to Note:
The communal swimming pool is open year round and is salt water.
This is a residential community, and guests are kindly asked to respect neighbours and keep noise to a reasonable level, particularly during late hours.
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 11:00.
Guests have the option to enhance their stay with a range of additional services. A travel cot can be provided for €25, and an infant high chair is available for €15, or both items can be arranged together for €30.
We also offer a reliable airport transfer chauffeur service for €60 for up to four passengers, which is a great option for late arrivals or a smooth, stress-free journey to the property.
Late check-out may be available for a fee of half the nightly rate, subject to availability and confirmation closer to departure.
All optional services should be requested in advance and are subject to availability.

You will have full privacy during your stay, but our team is always available if you need assistance. We are locally based and happy to help with anything from check-in support to recommendations during your stay. Our business hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00. Outside of these hours, we remain available for urgent matters.
