We werden vriendelijk ontvangen bij aankomst. Het chalet is leuk. Vanuit de tuin kijk je uit over het erf van de boerderij. Daar stonden/lagen kalfjes. We kregen zo ook wat mee van het leven op een boerderij. Inrichting van het chalet is goed. Keukengerei voldoende. Servies voldoende, sommige dingen een beetje beschadigd. Badkamer is okay. Douche wat klein maar ook okay verder. De verwarming, hadden we helaas af en toe nodig maar functioneerde goed. De slaapkamer met 2persoonsbed is echt niet okay. Het bed ruikt muf. Niet echt bevorderlijk voor je nachtrust. Dat vonden we echt heel jammer. De omgeving is echt fantastisch! We hebben een aantal wandelingen gemaakt. Natuurgebied de Maashorst ligt echt op loopafstand. De routes worden goed aangegeven met pijlen en knooppunten. We hebben zelfs exmoor pony's gezien daar en taurossen. De mensen van de boerderij zijn heel vriendelijk. Vragen werden snel beantwoord en probleempjes snel opgelost. Als hét probleem in de slaapkamer verholpen wordt is het echt een leuke locatie en aanrader.

Voor ons was het eigenlijk alleen een slaapplek, maar hebben het erg gezellig gehad. We hebben heerlijk geslapen. Als je hier met kleine kinderen komt is er veel te doen. skelters, fietsjes, kalfjes, kat, en bij ons een eekhoorntje. Ook de omgeving is erg mooi. Je ligt direct bij een natuurgebied. Wij komen vast nog een keer langs om het natuurgebied te ontdekken.

Chalet en omgeving heeft wat achterstallig onderhoud , maar alles is aanwezig , waren wat problemen met de tv zenders , dit was snel opgelost door verhuurder. Wij hadden huisje gehuurd om vuurwerk te ontlopen ivm hond , maar men hoort hier genoeg vuurwerk in de omgeving dus dit was helaas stressvol .
