Set in the heart of the Cotswold Lakes, this dog-friendly stay has an open-plan ground floor, a sun-trap deck, and bedrooms set up for flexibility. Come for the view. Stay for the stillness.

The Neighborhood:
Lake House sits within the Waters Edge estate in South Cerney, part of the Cotswold Water Lake. You’re surrounded by lakes, walking trails and wildlife - perfect for a morning paddle or golden hour stroll. The village has great pubs, coffee stops and local shops, and you’re only 15 minutes from Cirencester for markets, dining, and a bit of Roman charm. Think nature on your doorstep, but everything you need close by.

Getting Around:
A car is ideal for exploring the surrounding villages and lakes. That said, Kemble Station (direct trains from London) is just 7 miles away, and the 51 bus runs from the end of the lane to Cirencester and Swindon. Once you arrive, walking and cycling are great ways to enjoy the peaceful landscape.

Lovely modern house in a beautiful south facing setting on the late. Spotless modern interior and lovely decking area with comfortable seating and a lovely hot tub. Great location for exploring the cotswolds and the water park.

Lake House

A lovely property that was great for our elderly parents in the downstair ensuite bedroom. Also very enjoyable for the younger ones too. The hot tub was a real treat. Would highly recommend this property if you want a luxury few days of peace.

We booked a 3 night breakand were very pleased with Lake House. It was very well appointed and the process from booking to arrival was easy. The lakeside location was perfect and I even caught a few fish! Overall a most enjoyable experience.

Relaxing and making memories

What a fabulous place, the view when you walk through the door for the first time is amazing . The place was spotless and well suited to our family having our elderly parents with us and needed a ground floor bedroom. There was nothing that wasn’t thought of and the extra welcome touches were much appreciated. We totally relaxed especially in the hot tub at the end of every day. Would definitely come back to Lake house.

Family break in The Cotswolds

The house is located in a fantastic position overlooking a peaceful lake. We were treated to families of ducks, geese and swans swimming up to the house. Nice touch on arrival with a cake, prosecco, tea/coffee & milk. Plenty of space for 3 couples and a dog. Close to activity centres but at same time is distant enough for peace and quiet. All in all a great break in wonderful location and hoping to be back in 2025

Lovely stay,catching up with family

We have stayed in a few different of the lodges here, and just like our previous stays, we had a lovely time. The Prosecco and cake on arrival is a lovely touch. The only downside was that they are building new homes around, so when you look out to the lake on your decking you see a construction site, and also looking out the back window there is building there too, they also begin working from 8am so you hear general work noise as soon as you wake up. Also, the hot tub is situated on right side of the decking which felt slightly public, with cars going past, people walking around and as well as being overlooked by workmen, it was quite uncomfortable being in there especially in the day time. Apart from that the stay was lovely, this place is very special to us, a place that we can spend time together as a family and we love the surrounding areas.

We are Barry and Jo and we have an amazing collection of Cotswold holiday lodges on Cotswold Water Park near the old Roman town of Cirencester with most of them dog friendly.
We’ve been coming to this beautiful area for many years and about 5 years ago we decided to make the move permanent. We set up our company in 2018, starting with our own holiday home on Windrush lake but as you can see from our portfolio now, we have grown quite considerably!We love to travel and just before the “you know what pandemic” we spent 12 months travelling around the world ending up in New Zealand for Christmas and New Year and then working our way up to Hawaii and North, Central and South America. We think we know what it takes to get a place right for our fantastic guests but we are always learning!

We couldn’t do this without our fantastic team which is growing year by year. Unlike many of the larger companies selling holiday lets we, and our team, know all of our properties intimately because we provide the full service from cleaning and hosting through to managing the hot tubs, the plants on the decking and even window cleaning! Jo, Adele and Meg are the last ones to visit your holiday lodge just before you get there to make sure the place is perfect for your stay – you may even bump into one of them on your way in!
