Acerca de este alojamiento
Ardross Lodge
𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:
Ardross is for groups of friends and families - anyone who wants time away that still feels calm. Comfortable beds, open space, and the lake right there when you’re finally ready to grab the kayaks and get straight onto the water. Breathtaking.
It’s a spacious lakeside home made for easy get-togethers, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and open-plan living overlooking the water. It’s somewhere eight people can actually relax without feeling on top of each other.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲:
Ardross sleeps eight across four bedrooms. Upstairs, you’ll find the master suite with a superking bed, its own lounge and an en-suite, plus two bedrooms that can be set as superking beds or twin beds and share a family bathroom.
The ground-floor bedroom has a king-size bed and an accessible en-suite wet room. The open-plan living area leads to a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for eight and a smart TV with fast Wi-Fi. Heating and air conditioning keep the space comfortable year-round.
𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
You’ll have full use of the lodge, the enclosed lakefront decking, the private hot tub, the outdoor dining area and the BBQ. The decking has direct access to the lake, and private parking is right outside the property.
Check in from 3PM and check out by 10AM. You can arrive at your own pace with self check-in via key box, just give us a call if you have any issues.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱:
Set within the beautiful Cotswold Lakes region, the property is surrounded by over 180 freshwater lakes, woodland trails and open countryside. This unique lakeside setting combines natural beauty with an outdoors-focused lifestyle; perfect for walking, cycling, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing by the water’s edge. Wildlife is plentiful, the air is peaceful, and every day feels like a retreat.
Just a few minutes away sits the charming village of South Cerney, one of the most established communities in the area. The village offers traditional stone cottages, local shops, good pubs and friendly cafés, all set along leafy lanes and open green spaces. From here, scenic lakeside walks begin right on the doorstep.
Cirencester, often described as the Capital of the Cotswolds, is just a 10–15-minute drive away, offering boutique shopping, restaurants, markets, and cultural heritage. And with Kemble Station close by, direct trains to London make this an ideal base for weekend stays or longer escapes.
Life here feels calm, outdoorsy and connected to the landscape - somewhere where mornings start with coffee overlooking the water and end with sunset walks across the lakes. It’s a rare location that balances privacy with convenience, nature with activities, and peaceful surroundings with excellent access.
𝗚𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱:
We recommend travelling by car to get the most out of the area. That being said, Kemble Train Station is only a few minutes away with direct trains to London. Definitely book local taxis in advance for any specific travel plans. The local bus service is very reliable, and the 51 route links Cirencester, Swindon and nearby villages.
