This charming house is located on the edge of Rendham village with easy access to the Suffolk Heritage coast but tucked away from the busy tourist spots. Surrounded by fields and woods this is a secluded location but within walking distance of two excellent local pubs. The front of the house is the original Victorian Cottage but at the back a new extension has been added with a spacious contemporary kitchen, dining room and further living area and boot room providing comfortable and well designed family accommodation. The Suffolk Coast is a short drive away, Aldeburgh and Snape with their famous cultural amenities and other charming villages and towns such as Dunwich, Southwold and Walberswick. This is a wonderful location to explore East Suffolk with Framlingham and its famous castle also a 10 minute drive away. Extensive National Trust land nearby includes Minsmere bird sanctuary, Dunwich and Westleton heaths and walks from Snape to Aldeburgh make this a perfect place for a walking or cycling holiday. There are numerous excellent pubs and restaurants and lots of places to visit including Woodbridge, Orford, Orford Ness and the fabulous archeological site and exhibition at Sutton Hoo.
The main house comprises a light and airy front drawing room with direct access onto the garden, further large study/sitting room with wood fired stove and sofa bed. Three double bedrooms each with own shower/bathroom. This area leads into the rear extension which comprises a large and very light kitchen, fully equipped to a high standard open plan central dining room with full height glazed doors to garden and ceiling light. This leads into the TV/sitting room with windows on two walls overlooking the garden. There is also an independent two bedroom/bathroom guest annex and spacious playroom/barn for games, TV. This also has it's own wood fired stove. Gardens surround the house on all sides and these overlook fields and woods.
