Granary Steps is part of our ‘Country’ division and is a characterful, cosy cottage tucked away amongst a cluster of other cottages on a former farm belonging to the Lanhydrock Estate. Being only minutes walk away from Lanhydrock House and Gardens and it’s 900 acres of estate land, it is a haven for country lovers and a firm favourite for walkers, cyclists small families and solo travellers alike..
A beautifully furnished and pet-friendly property with a boutique feel, Granary Steps sleeps up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, With exposed beams, open plan living with kitchen & dining areas, bathroom with roll-top bath & shower, this property has everything to make your stay just perfect. The courtyard garden is also a delight with a private and covered luxury hot tub, seating area and outdoor dining equipped with stone barbecue/pizza oven.
Its rural location, set within the gorgeous Lanhydrock Estate offers magical woodland walks, cycling trails, nearby golf & many other local attractions & amenities. However, it is only 15 minutes to the nearest beach so offers the perfect blend of coast and country.
The space
Downstairs is laid out open plan with kitchen and dining area, a lounge area with wall mounted Smart TV and log burner for cosy nights. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with bunk beds. Both bedrooms have a wall mounted TV. The bathroom has a roll top bath and over bath shower.
The property also benefits from free wi-fi
The Location
The local town of Bodmin offers an excellent range of supermarkets and has a range of smaller shops up through the high street.
Doctors surgeries, dentists and chemists are all found in Bodmin.

We are Langoose Holiday Cottages and began our journey back in 2021. We started with two small cottages and now have five properties which we have lovingly refurbished and added individuality and style to. In our older properties, we have retained original features to ensure that their characters are maintained but we have also tried to create a boutique and homely feel.
Designing the interiors and paying attention to detail is what we like most.
It’s the little things that matter.
Perhaps the most pleasurable aspect of all though is when guests tell us how much they have enjoyed their holiday and want to return. In such a short time, we have built up a steady stream of repeat guests and we welcome them all back as friends.
Our aim is to make your holiday special and we will go the extra mile wherever we can. We will accommodate special requests (within reason , of course!) and are always on hand to provide recommendations or to help booking restaurants etc. Please just ask!

Lanhydrock is fabulous and very popular with National Trust enthusiasts who love visiting Lanhydrock House and Gardens and the neighbouring woodlands and the 900 acres of land which forms The Lanhydrock Estate.. in fact, four of our cottages were formerly owned by them and are in an enviable position just a short walk from the Estate and the beautiful House and Gardens which really are spectacular and well worth a visit!
