About the host
Hosted by Peak Venues
Established in 2006, Peak Venues is a leading, independent accommodation provider, offering original and unique self catering holiday homes across the Peak District and Derbyshire. Peak Venues was brought into being by three lifelong friends. Having spent over 15 years working together running bars, restaurants and hotels worldwide, Justin, Paul and Rachel chose to put down roots and settle in the stunning Peak District National Park. Keen to share their love of the Peak District with the world, they embarked on their first cottage restoration project, Hurdlow Grange, and they have never looked back since, renovating several properties, one of which is the Telephone Exchange which has been lovingly restored to offer a fabulous family friendly self-catering holiday home.
Why they chose this property
To give a new lease of life to a disused former telephone repeater station.
What makes this property unique
The property was a former telephone repeater station and it has been completely transformed to create a truly individual and contemporary holiday home for large groups. The ground floor of the property is one large open plan living/dining and kitchen area perfect for large groups to gather together to socialise.
