Close to the River Fal estuary and short flat river walk to the cathedral city of Truro The spacious accommodation has 2 double bedrooms, one standard double and one small double (4ft) including a master en-suite and family bathroom with dual aspect open plan living area. More suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Arranged over two floors, an inner hall services both bedrooms, the family bathroom and leads to the stairs with a galleried landing and opens to the open plan upper floor. The excellent reception space boasts beautiful vaulted ceilings and a Velux Cabrio Balcony which offers wonderful views towards the river and park and the surrounding countryside. There is a modern fitted kitchen with built in oven and hob with stainless steel extractor plus a freestanding fridge freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. upper deck is in a peaceful area near the river but still within 1 mile, with level access of the Cathedral city of Truro. Private allocated parking.

This lovely apartment was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our 2 night Cornish break. Quietly situated along the river estuary and next to a large park, it is still an easy walk or very short drive into Truro and ideal for Falmouth where our daughter was attending a music course. The arrival instructions worked perfectly and we had plenty of room for 4 people. The whole apartment was spotless and it was great having an en-suite plus extra bathroom for the girls. WiFi worked using the code in the handbook. Loved the open plan upstairs space and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay - the bottle of bubbly was a very thoughtful touch, thank you! Would love to return for a few more nights, there is so much to see nearby.

Disappointing
We had some issues which has led to our low rating: cobwebs, dust and debris behind side table which we moved to put drinks on; oven was very dirty with food debris in the tray; chest hair (I hope) underneath bowl in en suite; shower screen had come off runners so I couldn’t close the door (no shower in bathroom); no bath mat provided in en suite. It must be hard work to clean because every surface in the property was covered with ornaments. Views compromised by the high windows and that they were very dirty outside, cobwebby inside. I understand that the management are responsible for the outside. No number on the new postbox so we couldn’t find the property, the numbering system is bizarre, and had to ring Joan. The parking space is not immediately next to the property so didn’t help. WiFi information in the booklet is incorrect. We would have appreciated more details ie you can use the trade button to open the front door of the building (but it wasn’t working when we left); recycling instructions; instructions for closing the Cabrio balcony; where to leave the keys on checkout and a photo of the entrance. It should be mentioned in the description that the development is on a steep hill and there are 56 steps from the ground to the living area. My friend has mobility issues and struggled.We were able to contact Joan throughout our stay. She said she will address the cleaning issues and sent me a video after we left to show the shower screen had been fixed.
