About the host
Hosted by Emily Rosen-Rawlings
Myself and my husband Siggi have two children (9 and 7) and have been visiting North Norfolk every holiday since our youngest was born. We fell in love with Big Sky country and are never away for long!
Why they chose this property
A stone's throw from The National Trust's Sheringham Park, as well the gorgeous sandy beach at West Runton, Broomhill Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty of the North Norfolk coastline. The Georgian market town of Holt is a few minutes drive, with it's stylish boutiques and eateries, as well as a plethora of fabulous antique shops. Cley, with it's windmill, galleries and nature reserve is en route to Wells-next-to-the Sea, a beautiful and historic harbour and seaside town with sprawling white sands. With seal boats, steam trains, sea fishing on Weybourne beach, as well as an endless supply of fabulous gastropubs and restaurants, we are certain that you will enjoy your stay!
What makes this property unique
The jewel in the crown of Broomhill House are it's two hectares of English country garden, packed with cherry blossom trees, apple trees, plums, damsons, dahlias, lavender, roses plus many more varieties of plant and flower. The sunsets are spectacular from the terrace and many an hour can be spent enjoying listening to the bees and birdsong over a glass of wine! Perfect for groups of friends and family, this spacious retreat is just minutes drive from the local tourist attractions, but secluded enough to feel like your own pocket of paradise!
