The Courtyard Cottage at Loch Lomond is a modern, single-storey barn conversion set in the courtyard, behind the main house. Located in Loch Lomond National Park the luxury property is surrounded by some of Scotland’s most breath-taking scenery.

With guaranteed comfort and privacy our courtyard studio is a wonderful Loch Lomond accommodation ideal for couples looking for a relaxing retreat. With shopping, dining and of course the great outdoors on your doorstep our Loch Lomond Cottages are the perfect get-away to suit anyone’s taste.

Comfortable, clean and spacious

The Courtyard Suite was very comfortable, clean and spacious, and in an excellent location for exploring the Loch Lomond area. The parking spaces were also generous, our stay was peaceful, and communication was excellent; we appreciated the phone call on the day of arrival to inform us of the check-in process.

We booked out every property for our wedding guests in April and we would highly recommend Auchendennan Farm. Angela, James and the whole team are so kind, helpful and relaxed. Every property was in super condition, clean, the location is fantastic and we would definitely return for our own holiday!

Loved it!

I had booked the entire cottage property for my son's wedding for 3 days. The location was perfect with its natural surroundings and its proximity to the Boturich Castle. The amenities were modern. The host guide book had informative tips on local eateries and conveniences. Dave the owner was super friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The cottages were spotless and well maintained. All in all a perfect setting for our family and friends who came from all parts of the world. We loved it.

What a find. Absolutely fabulous

This property is just wonderful. The place the people and location couldn’t be better. The studio had absolutely everything you could want and is well put together for comfort. Had a fabulous Easter weekend. Will definitely be back for longer next time

The perfect Loch Lomond experience.

This was my first trip to Lock Lomond and I am so glad i booked my stay here. It was immaculately clean and everything was provided, even sharp knives in the kitchen! The staff were WONDERFUL. Angela was so genuinely warm and helpful and Gordon, the gardener who took time out to show me the best walks and views, added to the experience. I highly recommend. Also the location is perfect, just far enough away from the crowds but only a 10 min walk from the Loch. Perfect all round.

Courtyard Apartment

The apartment is very spacious with a large living dining area, with 2 very comfy sofas, a big bathroom with a bath, great for a soak after a long day walking and a massive super king bed. Immaculately clean and everything you need, also very handy having the smart tv so you can just sign into Netflix, prime etc (though the WiFi signal was a bit challenging on the Saturday night when more people were in the cottages?). There is no garden or lawned area outside this cottage if you bring a dog (which we knew) but there is less than 10 seconds walk from the front door. Lovely set up all round, the only thing that was surprising was how busy the road on that side of the loch is, you can hear it from the cottages but it's not a deal breaker. Would return with friends to try one of the bigger properties.

Studio well located for loch lomond, but in need of some tlc.

Generally comfortable stay, obviously being a courtyard studio, there isn't much of a view and you can feel like you are in a goldfish bowl, perhaps some blinds would be good, but that said, people only walk past occasionally. Good points include superking bed, very effective kitchen area, car parked only a few feet away. Dinning table and chairs were obviously chosen for being space saving, but I found the chairs uncomfortable, the sofa was comfortable though! Whist everything was usable, it does feel to me that some maintenance is needed, e.g. bath plug lifter doesn't work when water is in the bath, bathroom basin popup plug lets water slowly drain when down, few cracked tiles by the bath, freezer compartment in fridge in dire need of defrosting! Having said that, we enjoyed stay at Loch Lomond, which is a beautiful area, Firkin point was good for my wife's mobility scooter, saw some Red Squirrel's at the wildlife hide at Lodge Forest and Balloch castle country park was also good for the mobility scooter.
