Villa tradicional de estilo acogedor de nueva construcción (junio de 2011), esta Villa ha sido creada como "hogar lejos del hogar". Villa Kivotos está a solo 7 km de la ciudad veneciana de Rethymnon, por lo que ofrece la combinación perfecta de país y ciudad. 120 metros cuadrados permiten que la villa Kivotos esté bien distribuida, ofreciendo cocina / cena, salón abierto con puertas de balcón de cinco pies de largo y una romántica terraza con vistas al mar Egeo, tres habitaciones dobles y dos baños.

Se ha creado un aire de tranquilidad mediante el uso de materiales naturales en la construcción y decoración de esta villa. La piscina y el jardín de flores se encuentran en un entorno natural virgen que ofrece un entorno de relajación total. Kivotos Villa es único en el sentido de que ofrece una piscina totalmente alarmada para garantizar la seguridad de nuestros huéspedes más jóvenes. También con la esperanza de que sus vacaciones sean completamente relajantes, se puede organizar un servicio de canguro y con los propietarios que viven cerca, sus vacaciones serán inolvidables.

El día de cambio puede ser flexible. La Villa estará disponible el día de llegada a partir de las 3pm.
Estaríamos agradecidos si la villa está desocupada antes de las 11:00 del día de salida. En caso de que no haya una reserva posterior, se puede organizar un horario posterior.

Alojamiento
Dormitorios: El dormitorio principal está situado en la planta baja con una cama doble. Otra habitación doble está situada en el mismo piso con dos camas individuales.
En la entreplanta (sótano) se encuentra una suite con 2 sofás cama dobles. Todas las habitaciones están equipadas con aire acondicionado sin costo adicional.
Baños: en la planta baja hay un baño con ducha de lujo, lavabo e inodoro totalmente equipados para usuarios de sillas de ruedas.
El segundo baño está equipado con un lavabo, un inodoro y un jacuzzi.
Cocina: moderna cocina de madera totalmente equipada, cocina, nevera, congelador, microondas, cafetera, tetera, tostadora y una mesa de comedor con cuatro sillas y taburetes.
Sala de estar: La sala de estar con su puerta de balcón de cinco pies de largo es el "must" de esta villa. También está equipado con aire acondicionado, TV de pantalla plana vía satélite, reproductor de DVD y equipo de música.

Accesibilidad
Villa Kivotos está diseñada y equipada también para discapacitados y discapacitados.

Simply the best

Fantastic house with a large swimming pool and a great garden. The location is perfect with a nice view on the sea and the sun all day long. Our hosts have been very nice. If you go to Rethymno, this is the perfect location

Lovely villa, perfect for familys and friends

This house has everything you need. We stayed in the villa for 11 nights, 4 adults and two children. Beautiful area in a hill that over looks the sea and the village of Platanes. A car is nessesary, in this calm and quiet area. Eva is just the best host, so helpfull and kind. The pool in the garden is amazing. Easy access to super markets and restaurants in Platanes, just a 10 min drive from the house. I really hope we can come back one day.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Kivotos war perfekt und wird uns immer in Erinnerung bleiben ! Die Organisation über unsere Gastgeberin Eva hat problemlos funktioniert. Eva war eine hilfsbereite, jederzeit erreichbare und überaus liebenswerte Gastgeberin. Die Villa selbst bietet alle Voraussetzungen für einen schönen Urlaub auf Kreta. Wunderschöne Lage mit Meerblick, einen täglich gereinigten Pool, Garten mit Olivenbäumen, Grillmöglichkeit, geräumige Zimmer , große Terrasse, ideal auch für Familie mit Kindern, ganz einfach eine mehr als empfehlenswerte Destination. Wir werden wiederkommen !

An unforgettable stay

This villa is simply amazing! It is absolutely spotless and so well stocked with equipment, even small items such as dishwasher pads and toilet roll! Eva, the owner, also provided some local produce to make the holiday start smoothly. The villa is very spacious with high open beam ceilings and cool tile floors. Every window has a mosquito net, although there seem to be very few mosquitoes on Crete! The mid-week linen change and quick clean were a lovely touch. The views and the quietness are gorgeous and the pristine pool, tastefully lit up at night, makes an evening simply special. Eva is an experienced and very able owner who is always on hand for a chat if needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble and my children were always delighted to see her, especially when she brought round some desserts!! Crete is a beautiful and interesting island and villa Kivotos is the perfect place to stay. Recommend 100%.

schöne Sicht - super Service-sehr sauber!!

Wir haben im September zwei wunderbare Wochen im Haus "Kivotos" verbracht. Der Blick von der Terrasse war wunderschön und die Ruhe dort hat sehr gut getan. Eva und ihr Mann waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, wegen Fragen immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Der Kühlschrank war bei unserer Ankunft mit allem Wichtigen gefüllt und wir durften auch ihr selbst hergestelltes Olivenöl und Marmelade genießen. Handtücher und Bettwäsche und das gesamte Haus wurden alle paarTage von einem sehr freundlichen und ordentlichem Herrn gereinigt. Um den Pool hat sich Evas Mann täglich gekümmert. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und bedanken uns noch mal sehr herzlich!!! Dietmar, Irmhild und Kinder

Amazing Villa

A beautiful villa in the hills with a wonderful sea view, its only 10 minutes from the old town of Rythmno which boasts a venetian harbour, shops and plenty of restaurants. Just down the road is the beach with many access points to the sea offering sun beds, parasols and many places offering drinks and food. The villa itself is excellent, offering a beatiful terrace to enjoy the view, a lovely pool with plenty of seating areas both in and out of the shade to enjoy the weather. Inside its well maintained, clean and modern, with each room offering air con. Plenty of space as well with 3 large bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms, both with showers and a spacious kitchen-diner area adjacent to the terrace if the sun gets a little too hot , there is even a room with a selection of toys and games that kept our toddler entertained for ages. Our hosts were wonderful and very accommodating, they provided some basic food and drink on arrival, and even some of their own home grown olive oil! Cannot more thoroughly recommend this villa, some places the pictures flatter to deceive but this place matched up to expectations and even exceeded them.

Simply wonderful

Eva was a brilliant host of her hugely impressive property. Prior to arrival excellent communication Met us on way to property to ensure we did not get lost. The house was simply wonderful. Purpose built, much more spacious than pictures suggest. Pool cleaned every morning, and was perfect. Wonderful. view down to coast. Stunning sunsets. Great beach a short drive away. Extremely impressive attention to detail. Loved it. Thanks Eva.

Fenomenal schönes Ferienhaus

Wir waren mit zwei Familien im Oktober im Ferienhaus und es war einer der schönsten Herbsturlaube die wir jeh erlebt haben. Das Haus liegt sehr schön, ist sehr sauber und die Bilder werden vom VOrorteindruck eher noch übertroffen. Auch bei uns war der Kühlschrank mit dem nötigsten bestückt so das man ganz in Ruhe ankommen und das nächste Frühstück genießen konnte. Die Kinder haben es genossen im Garten herum zu strolchen und den Pool zu benutzen. Das Haus ist der Ideale Ausganzpunkt für Exkursionen in die Umgebung. Alles im Allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Wonderfull stay

We have been kindly received by Eva, the villa is spacious, clean and have elegantly furnished guest room. Thee landscape is really lovely, little set back of the coast what we appreciated for calm with a stunning view over the bay of Rethimno. Nous avons été gentiment accueillis par Eva, la maison est spacieuse, très bien entretenue et le cadre est magnifique: un peu en retrait de la côte ce qui est un avantage pour le calme avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de Rethimno.

Excellent séjour

Ce qui rend le séjour agréable, c'est bien sûr la qualité de la maison (aménagée avec goût, bien équipée, spacieuse), les prestations (ménage 2 fois/semaine, grande piscine très propre entretenue tous les jours, quelques victuailles à l'arrivée, tout le nécessaire pour le quotidien: sel/poivre/liquide vaisselle/papier aluminium...), le jardin, la vue sur mer mais surtout l'attention d'Eva pour tous les détails. Une présence discrète mais attentive, une disponibilité, des conseils qui facilitent les vacances. La maison est assez isolée, il faut avoir une voiture mais l'emplacement permet de visiter la région et les commerces sont à une poignée de km. Bref, nous recommandons cette location car la prestation est d'une très grande qualité.

Cretan Paradise

The photographs do not do justice to this beautiful villa, location and views. Absolutely stunning!! The villa is situated in the hills overlooking the seaside resort of Platanes, to the east of Rethimno and a 10 minute drive away from the beach and main shops for food. Ideal location for a relaxing holiday by the pool combined with some days at the beach and a great base to explore what the island has to offer. The warm breeze is a welcome addition to the heat of the day. There are plenty of areas in and around the pool and gardens to accommodate sun worshipers and those who prefer a it of shade. The pool area is great and our girls loved it. Our hosts Eva and Sakis were wonderful. Eva met us to guide us up the hill and was always at hand for a chat and advice, and even made us a delicious Zuccini pie. Best pool ever - cleaned every day - was immaculate and water always very warm. A few musts: Local Tavernas to try - Taverna Fantastico and Thavma Cafe and Restaurant - traditional cretan food with stunning views. Chania - Venetian port is beautiful, and we spent hours wandering the narrow streets Thank you Eva, Zania and Sakis for making our stay a wonderful family memory

Magnifique villa pour des vacances réussies !

Nous venons de passer une semaine de vacances dans la villa d'Eva à Maroulas- Nous étions 8 au total, 4 adultes et 4 enfants. L'accueil d'Eva a été parfait tout comme la communication avant et pendant le séjour. Nous avons reçu de nombreuses informations précieuses pour organiser au mieux nos vacances et découvrir la région autour de Maroulas. La villa est parfaitement conforme aux photos: très bien décorée, très soignée et entretenue. Elle est située au calme, sur les hauteurs avec une vue panoramique sur la baie avec en prime le chant des cigales ! La piscine est appréciable pour se rafraîchir après les journées de découverte de la Crète. Nous sommes repartis ravis de cette semaine de vacances et recommandons la villa les yeux fermés. J'en profite pour remercier Eva pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse.

très agréable séjour.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour accueillis par Eva, très aimable et disponible. La maison est de belle qualité ainsi que la piscine, nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir. La position de la maison est idéale : le calme de la campagne entourée d'oliviers à 5 mn de Rethymnon et son animation. Une maison charmante chez des hôtes charmants.

Wonderful villa, wonderful owners

I stayed with a friend at Villa Kivotos for a week in October. We had a perfect time and would have liked to have stayed longer but unfortunately we were a late booking and the villa was already booked by other lucky people. The villa is situated in the hills above Rethymnon and has great views from all levels. The villa itself is modern, spotlessly clean and had every amenity we could have wished for. We didn't cook while we were there but could have if we'd wanted to as it was fully equipped with everything needed. We loved the sliding doors which opened up the villa to the patio outside. I also liked the screens which meant we weren't bothered by flies, mosquitoes etc, although there probably weren't many around by then. It is also very suitable for people with mobility issues as the bathroom is equipped with rails and a walk in shower. Outside, there is a ramp down to the pool area so it's not necessary to use the steps. So that's the villa...but what really made our stay perfect was the kindness and helpfulness of Eva and her husband. From our arrival, when Eva met us after 10.30pm at the bottom of the hill so that we could follow her to the villa, they couldn't have been more helpful. The following morning there was a problem with our rental car and Eva's husband spoke to the rental company to give them directions so that they could bring a replacement, and then also went to meet them to guide them to the villa. When we managed to get a parking ticket, he also offered to take our payment to the local post office. And one evening we thought we'd locked ourselves out (but hadn't!) and had to call Eva out. The villa is lovely, but they are what makes it really special.

Perfect Vacation Getaway

Our stay at this Villa was absolutely perfect for my family of four! Eva, our host, and her family were extremely hospitable and helpful. She checked in on us daily and advised us on which places to see. The Villa is fully equipped, with spacious, clean rooms and has an amazing view. Eva stocked our refrigerator and gifted us a bottle of fresh olive oil from her garden. She was extremely kind and sweet. Many people travel to the more mainstream and slightly overrated islands of Greece, whereas the actuality of Greece's nature and culture is in Crete. There is so much to explore in Crete and the most perfect place to live in is Eva's Villa! Thank you so much for your hospitality, we would love to come back again! xx

We have just spent two fabulous weeks at the Kivotos Villa. Located up in the hills above Rethymno, it is a great base to explore all the main sights in the Central region. You need a car and we hired a VW Polo which was absolutely perfect for the journeys that we made, particularly some of the narrow alleys in the villages. We visited beaches on the north and south coast, the main historical sights and spent time in Chania and Rethymno. We ate out most days and every meal we had was delicious. The villa itself is modern, well kitted out with everything you need and generously stocked with all the basics when you first arrive. It is cleaned twice a week, highly secure and air conditioned. Rethymno is only 15 mins drive and there is a local supermarket just 5 mins down the road. The views from the terrace over look the beach on one side and the mountains on the other. So we had beautiful sun rises over the mountains and sunsets over the ocean. Just breathtaking. We have two kids aged 11 and 9 and there wasn't a day that they weren't in the pool. It was very much their highlight! A great base for families or couples travelling together. We have stayed in villa's in France over the years and this was by the far the best. Highly recommended!

Stunning holiday house

It was very enjoyable and we loved the swimming pool! We also loved that there were loads of toys for us to play with including my new favourite toy, flippers. Eva was very friendly and gave us lots of brilliant recommendations for dinner and places to go. We think the villa was beautiful, inside and out, and we would love to go back there again. Wonderful week in Crete

We enjoyed our stay in Crete. When we arrived late in the evening Eva met us at a hotel near her home. The fridge had groceries for our breakfast the next day and a bottle of wine. The next day Eva showed us around Rethymno day how to get around and the best restaurant to eat in the area. The Villa was beautiful scenic and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here.

Nice Villa with best view !

My wife, our two boys and I have been there in the first week of October. It was one of our best holidays ever. The villa is huge, almost new and everything was super clean. The furniture is very nice and everything is decorated with much love. Enough space for 6-8 people and more than enough for us 4. The villa has a large garden around with nice places to sit outside and relax but the best feature for the boys was the large pool. The view to the see and the mountains is just amazing! A car is necessary but then it is just a few minutes to the beach, to the supermarket and to nice little restaurants all around in the hills. Eva's hospitality is absolutely unique and the best we ever had. The kitchen and fridge was filled with some food for the arriving day. She showed us not the villa only but the surrounding area with nice places and restaurants. She was always available for questions and advises. Thank you Eva !!! Maike, Tim, Ben and Martin

Excellent facilities and wonderful views.

My son is in a wheelchair and the villa was very spacious enabling my son to access the shower room with the aid of a manual hoist, sourced for us by Eva. The villa had electric gates which meant it was private and secure. The villa and pool was cleaned twice a week and fruit and veg was brought from Eva's garden as was her own olive oil. The whole holiday experience was wonderful and would recommend this villa. Would hope to come again.
