Villa Distella es una lujosa villa privada construida en una parcela privada con hermosos jardines y vistas al mar. La Villa se encuentra en una zona tranquila a solo 6 km de la vibrante ciudad veneciana de Rethymnon.
Villa Distella está bien distribuida en 190 metros cuadrados con sala de estar, cocina, cuatro dormitorios, 3 baños, dos terrazas y cuatro balcones. La villa está bellamente decorada combinando materiales tradicionales con materiales más modernos.
La piscina está rodeada de un hermoso jardín con palmeras, olivos, limoneros, naranjos, rosas y muchas plantas nativas de Creta.
¡Una cesta de bienvenida lo estará esperando a su llegada con productos locales!
Descripción: Al ingresar a la Villa hay una gran sala de estar con área de cocina abierta. En la planta baja también hay una sala de estar independiente con TV vía satélite, reproductor de DVD y reproductor de música. En la misma planta hay una habitación doble con su propio balcón y un baño compartido con ducha.
En el primer piso hay dos habitaciones dobles con balcón (vista a la montaña), un baño, un dormitorio en suite con dos camas individuales, también tiene un balcón con vista al mar. Todos nuestros colchones son COCO MAT diseñados para ofrecerle un sueño relajante y cómodo con materiales naturales.
En el mismo piso también hay una pequeña cocina y una gran terraza con sala de estar para disfrutar de la vista al mar y la hermosa puesta de sol.
En la planta baja de la Villa hay una lavadora y aspiradora.
La Villa está construida en una parcela de 3 hectáreas con hermosos jardines, piscina (también hay una piscina infantil separada) y plaza de aparcamiento privado.

Villa Distella está a solo 500 metros del centro de Prines Village, que cuenta con dos minimercados, tres tabernas, cafeterías, carnicería y una estación de servicio. Prines es un pueblo tranquilo muy agradable para pasear.

Lovely villa with a great host, from Stella to pool boy (aka grandparents). Good communication and recommendations for taxi, car hire and restaurants. 3 bedrooms upstairs (2 double and 1 twin) with a/c, balconies and lovely en suites. Further to the balconies there is an additional terrace which captures the sun all day, great for morning coffee and evening sunsets over the sea view. The ground floor has a large open plan entrance, dining area and kitchen leading off into a seperate lounge area. On this floor there is a further bedroom with a seperate bathroom (all bathrooms have showers) so no sharing of facilities. This bedroom has access to the large terrace at the front of the house, ideal for evening meals and drinks. There is a further shaded terrace with seating near a large bbq, this leads to the pool and does the large terrace at the front of the villa. There is a door off the kitchen leading to the bins and further storage. The basement has a washing machine and ironing board completing the great available cooking, cleaning, dining, crockery equipment. The pool was lovely and clean and gets the sun until 6/7 in the evening as well as having shaded areas. The pool is deep and large so plenty of space for games, swimming and diving and good quality towels readily available. We highly recommend this villa, and the hosts for the welcome wine and food and the mid week dessert. The area is good a short 6 minute walk to 3 bars, 1 shop and a 10 minute bus into Rethymno.

A wonderful property with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday on the beautiful island of Crete. A well laid out house with lots of room, inside and out. 4 bedrooms (all with a balcony), 4 shower rooms, great air con and fab pool and outdoor areas. The village is lovely with 3 friendly tavernas for coffee, drinks and meals (we frequented them all) also a well stocked shop and a butchers - everything you could need. Ideal position for travelling to a range of attractions. We particularly liked the Mili gorge - a short drive away and a nice shaded walk with tavernas at top and bottom. Some lovely stretches of beach in easy reach too. The hosts were super responsive, helpful and generous too which always makes for a great stay. I'm not one for going back to the same place twice - but I would definitely consider a return to Villa DiStella.

Great villa in a great location

We had a great time at Villa De Stella and it is a brilliant location for local tavernas! Stella and her family are lovely and really helpful! The villa got cleaned every few days which was fab with fresh linen etc. the 4 stars for the cleanliness rating was because the oven pans inside the oven were not clean (nothing that our own elbow grease didn’t resolve!) Villa layout was great - double room and separate bathroom on ground floor and two further doubles and a twin upstairs all with en-suites. Pool area was lovely but would have liked a couple more umbrellas for shade as 2 is not quite enough. Overall we had a great time, great villa in a great location and great hosts! We will be back!

Amazing stay!

We are very pleased with our stay at the villa! It is close to the city of Rethymno but also allows more of a 'tiny greek village' experience. It is at a walkable distance from one of the best restaurant we tried on our trip (Giannikos Taverna) !! The house is also very very clean. The hosts (Stella and her father) were hospitable and reactive : Initially, one of the bed was very uncomfortable, but the hosts were super quick to react to our comment and changed the whole mattress. This shows that they won't let you down if anything happens! One thing we would have like to know is there ain't much 'accessories' for basic cooking/making lunch (no Tupperware, no aluminium foil, no ziploc, no cooler, no lighter, etc.). This is a small detail, but would've made our life a little bit easier.

A fabulous stay at a wonderful villa!

We enjoyed a fabulous week at Villa Distella, celebrating my friend’s significant birthday! The villa is clean, comfortable, spacious and very well equipped, with sunny terraces galore! The pools are clean and well looked after, with surrounding gardens that are beautifully kept. As a host, from the time of booking to checking out, Stella could not have been more helpful. She was friendly, responsive and very accommodating, offering us lots of useful tips and suggestions of things to do during our first visit to Crete. The generous welcome pack (including delicious cake) and midweek dessert were also hugely appreciated. We would definitely like to visit Prinés again and would highly recommend all three of the local tavernas (which were all only five minutes walk away).

Exceeded Expectations!!

This 1,000,000 Euro Villa was amazing. The price per day was incredible. We vacation regularly around the planet and this by far was the best ever! The villa had four amazing bedroom mini suites with each having their own private bath and private balcony! The Host, Stella, was so attentive and friendly; she was always available and even booked tours for us in Santorini saving us time and effort. I will absolutely stay there again and would highly recommend it to all.

Fabulous stay in Villa DiEstella

Really enjoyable holiday at the lovely Villa DiStella. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The pool was fantastic in a beautiful garden, all regularly attended by Manolis, the friendly owner. The view of the sunset on the top terrace every evening is not to be missed. The village of Prines is lovely and has three very good Tavernas within a five minute walk from the Villa. We would highly recommend this Villa to anyone and hope to stay there again one day.

Un petit bout de paradis !

Stella et son père sont des hôtes adorables, aussi discrets qu’efficaces. La villa possède tout le confort que l’on peut attendre à ce niveau de prestation. Trois terrasses astucieusement disposées permettent de profiter des extérieurs à tout moment de la journée. La propreté est irréprochable, le ménage est fait tous les trois jours et les draps ainsi que les serviettes sont changés de la même manière. La piscine spacieuse permet une détente en famille ou entre amis. Bref, nous ne sommes pas loin de la perfection ! Adresse à retenir.

Fantastic villa and amazing pool

Spacious four double bedrooms in a fab villa with a massive delightful pool. Great sunsets over the sea. Walking distance to three tavernas and two shops. Village setting with quiet seclusion. Terraces for every part of the day. Large barbecue. Spacious enough to fit large family or four couples. Largest deepest warmest fun pool we’ve ever had.

First time in Crete, a fabulous place, lovely people, great food, the local Cretan wine was especially nice, we never had a bad meal wherever we ate. Stella and her family made us very welcome, the villa was fab, with everything we required, Stella had some great suggestions of where to go, eat etc, do ask her…Manolis tended the gardens whilst his mechanical ‘pool boy’ cleaned the pool, also bought us a desert made by his better half, delicious 🤤 The local restaurants were just a short walk away all very welcoming with great food and drink. Plenty to do in Rethymno with bars, restaurants, markets, shops, nightlife, great beaches. Could say more… ‘5’ stars it is.. A fabulous stay The Chandler family

Fabulous stay near Rethymno

We are a group of six friends who travelled to Crete from Canada. We stayed at this villa for 5 fabulous days. The owners daughter, Stella, was in frequent contact with us whenever we needed her help and gave us great recommendations. So lovely of them to also leave wonderful treats for us upon our arrival. The house and grounds are gorgeous- way beyond our expectations. Beautiful house, rooms, balconies and pool. Absolutely amazing views of the sunset. Also great to have laundry facilities. Fabulous 3 Tavernas within a short walk from the villa. Thanks so much to Stella and her parents for an amazing time in Prines. Don’t forget to ask how to get hot water for morning showers.

Amazing villa!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Distella. It has lots of different seating areas so you could always find the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or evening drinks. The top balcony has an amazing view of the sea and mountains and the sunset. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms there was plenty of space for everyone. The pool was a good size for swimming and kept scrupulously clean by Manolis. The kitchen was well kitted out with plenty of crockery and pans. The villa is a short drive into Rethymno and is a short walk from the centre of Prines where we ate at the friendly Veranta taverna a couple of times. Manolis was a very helpful and friendly host who was always bringing over gifts: his own pressed olive oil, wine or cake.

Schöne Tage auf Kreta

Schönes Haus mit Weitsicht auf die Bucht. Es wehte immer eine kühler Wind vom Meer, der auch 30 C gut erträglich machte. Hervorzuheben sind die sehr netten Gastgeber. Das war Gastfreundschaft, wie man sie sich besser nicht vorstellen kann..

Schöne Villa mit toller Ausstattung

Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Die Villa wurde sehr sauber übergeben und entsprach der Beschreibung. 4 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad und Balkon bzw. Terrasse. In jedem Schlafzimmer eine Klimaanlage. Das Haus hat mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten zum Essen für größere Gruppen und bietet genug Schatten. Schöne Lage in einem kleinen Bergdorf mit Restautants, Mini Supermarkt und Apotheke. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Nähe gibt es schöne Strände wie z.B Episkopi Beach und Rethymnon als Ausflugsziel ist auch nicht weit entfernt. ( Auto notwendig). Die Ausstattung der Küche lässt nichts vermissen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect Holiday

The Villa is lovely, very spacious with lots of terraces to sit on. The roof terrace has stunning views over the sea and amazing sunsets. The pool area is lovely, full of beautiful flowers. The pool is great, deep and cooling in the hot sun. The location in the village is superb. There are 3 lovely tavernas all within 5 minutes walk and all serving wonderful food. The owners were so welcoming making the whole eating experience fantastic. Manolis visited often to water his plants and clean the pool and never came empty handed. We had cake, fruit, cheese pies and a wonderful pudding all home made. We were given olive oil on our departure. We can not fault the holiday. Stella was quick to answer any questions we had and provided up to date info for us on the Covid situation. We were all very sorry to leave the comfort of the villa and would highly recommend. Big thanks to Stella and Mannolis for everything and we hope to meet you again!

Mooie en gezellige villa.Rustig gelegen,maar op korte afstand van Rethymnon

Leuke gezellige woning met een mooi zwembad.Het huis heeft mooie plekken om te eten.In het dorpje zijn 3 kleine tavernes te vinden en een kleine supermarkt.Er zijn een aantal dingen in de villa aan vervanging toe zoals de vaatwasser en de koelkast op de 1ste verdieping.Tijdens ons verblijf hadden wij wat problemen met dingen die niet werkten,maar dat werd meteen goed opgelost.Al met al een echte aanrader,zeker qua lokatie.Let alleen wel op dat 2 van de 3 tweepersoons bedden kleiner zijn dan 1,40m.Wij hebben een extra bed bij laten plaatsen in 1 van de kamers.

A Wonderful Holiday

We arrived late at the villa and were met and welcomed by Manolis who showed us around and was extremely helpful. The villa is located in a lovely village. We ate in one of the tavernas and it was very pleasant. The location is quiet but in close reach to Rethymno by car; a busier town, but a lovely place to walk around. Our boys (age 16 and 19) and daughter (10) did parasailing here and the boys and my husband hired an electric scooter for an hour to scoot along the coast. We visited Finikas beach on the other side of the island a few times as we loved it so much. The roads there were at times narrow but a lovely location to swim, snorkel or sit and enjoy the view. There is a cafe there too serving takeaway food which after an afternoon at the beach, was welcomed. Our favourite aspect of the holiday was enjoying being at the villa with the large family pool. This was the main treat. We loved the different terraces to eat out on and in the main, sat by the pool to read and then to swim or judge handstand competitions! The villa suited our family well, particularly with air conditioning in the bedrooms. It was easy to make family meals in the kitchen area and overall the villa is spacious, clean and lovely to be in for a holiday. Manolis came and cleaned the pool regularly and looked after the beautiful gardens. The family also gifted us a delicious cake and pudding made by Manolia. Any questions we had were answered very quickly, the hosts were extremely helpful, friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this villa and area of Crete for a holiday. I tried to jog each day and found a few routes I could take for this. Hot, but beautiful scenery. We hired a car and we used this to explore and to shop at the nearby Lidle, but also local bakeries and shops. Manolis and Manolia run the village shop too which sold freshly baked bread each day. There is also a beach a 10 minute drive away which is a long straight coastline; very pleasant. My husband jogged along here while we all swam in the sea. Our favourite place to eat was Ta Souvlakia tou Gagani in Atsipopoulo where the seating is in the church square - fantastic food, service and location. Overall, a wonderful holiday and we thank Stella, Manolis and Manolia for this. We would certainly return and would recommend with no hesitation.

Wir waren zu viert für 2 Wochen hier und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist exakt so wie beschrieben, wunderschön eingebettet in die Natur. Etwas nervig waren die Zikaden, die von Sonnenauf bis -untergang einen tierischen Krach machen. Mücken gibt es leider auch in Massen, es sind aber ausreichend Mückenstecker vorhanden. Die Vermieter sind super nett und verwöhnen einen regelmäßig mit kretanischen Spezialitäten. Das Haus wird sogar alle 3,4 Tage komplett gereinigt und die Handtücher gewechselt, Pool regelmäßig gepflegt. Großes Manko ist das Fernsehen, ausschließlich griechische Programme, nicht einmal einen englischen Nachrichtenkanal, dafür aber recht flottes Internet. In 5 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto am Strand - Anfang Juli waren wir meist die einzigen dort und genau so schnell ist man auch mitten in Rethymnon. Dort kann man kostenlos unterhalb der Festung parken und ist in 2 Minuten Fußweg im Zentrum. Die Tavernen in Prines entsprachen leider nicht unseren Vorstellungen und können mit den meisten in Rethymnon preislich und kulinarisch nicht mithalten. Doch aufpassen es gibt einige Tavernen die Touris so richtig abzocken, so haben wir z.B. im Kritamos 8€ Besteckgebühr bezahlt. Ein Highligt ist das Zefyros, dort muß man allerdings reservieren.

great villa - lovely hosts

We had great pleasure from 01.-12. October 2018 to be a guest at Villa Stella. We are: Grandma, Grandpa, son, daughter in law and our 8-year-old granddaughter. Arrived in Prines, a traditional village, we were warmly welcomed by Manolia. Manolia drove us to the villa and we were all full of expectations. Our expectations were exceeded - everything was better than the pictures hinted. Fantastic villa - very well equipped - very nice pool area and a large and beautiful garden. They say, "The first impression is always the best," and it was excellent. But it should be even better. During our stay we were spoiled by the owners with delicious cakes and other dishes. Also the service in the house and around the house are to be mentioned. Within our time the house was cleaned twice, bed linen and towels changed. Manolis came regularly, cleaned the pool and took care of the grounds. All in all, the service of the owners is to be especially praised !!!!! Prines is a good starting point for all kinds of activities. The evening can be comfortably concluded in one of the local taverns. We were very happy in the tavern GIANNIKOS Giannis and enjoyed delicious food and good wine. Manolia and Manolis, many thanks for the hospitality and the loving care. Thanks also to Stella, with whom we only contact by mail and telephone; Maybe next time we meet each other personally. Unfortunately, the holiday passed much too fast - but we are very happy to come back. Many thanks for everything !!!!! ***** Σας ευχαριστώ για τη φιλοξενία

Lovely

Had a lovely week at the Beautiful Villa Stella. Stella and her parents could not have been more helpful and kind. Lovely pudding and cake provided by Stella's mum. Thank you!! Manolis was also very good at keeping the gardens and plant pots looking lovely. And thank you Manolis for getting us back in when we locked ourselves out!! The pool is also fantastic. Highly reccomend this villa.

A beautiful villa in a stunning location

We had a blissful October week at Villa DiStella. The property is very large and much nicer than the photos suggest. The garden is lush and well looked after and can be enjoyed from 3 separate large terraces and that's not mentioning the small balconies on each of the rooms! The interior is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The roof terrace has stunning views of the sea and across the mountains and is well positioned to enjoy the sunset. The local village is very beautiful and we enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and supper at the super friendly taverna on the square. We very much enjoyed walking through the traditional village to get fresh bread from the shop each morning. And what sets this property apart - the warmth of greeting from the owners who also run the local shop. We had a friendly chat every morning with Stella's mum and often left with freshly baked cakes she had made for us. The villa is also well placed for the loacl area. Rethymino is a really great town and we had no problem driving and parking on the outskirts, althought the local bus ran regulary from the village. The families favourite trip was to Schinaria Beach (as recommended by Yannis at the taverna). At the end of a single track road is a beautiful crystal clear bay where we snorkelled (take your gear with you) and saw the most beautiful fish in only a few feet of water. So I won't hesitate to recommend this villa. The family who own it are so welcoming and helpful throughout your stay it sets you up for a perfect holiday.

One of the best!

A fabulous villa with first class service from the lovely owners. Villa DiStella is spacious and well equipped with a good size pool and beautiful gardens. The villa is located in a quiet part of the sleepy village of Prines with a mini market and a couple of authentic tavernas (olive tree & veranta) within walking distance. Within 20 minutes by car you can get to Rethymno old town and a choice of beaches (kalivaki beach is a must). We enjoyed our stay there and loved connecting with the owners, Manolis, Manolia and Stella. For an unforgettable villa holiday, villa DiStella comes highly recommended
