The Hawaiian Inn also has its own beach access right from the pool area. The resort is kid friendly and there is usually something fun going on over the weekend. The condo is also only a little over an hour away from Disney, Universal Studios, and Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Center but there is tons to do in the area.
