The Lakehouse Retreat - pure relaxation and wellness!

Immerse yourself in a luxurious home retreat nestled in nature. This magical sanctuary is surrounded by mountains and ecological lakeside walkways. We have lovingly created a space to savour a true indoor/outdoor experience; a spacious garden, salt water pool, wrap-around porch and a unique outdoor star gazing lounge. The interior design is carefully curated, with soothing color palettes, artistic touches and an open-concept layout where light streams through floor-to-ceiling windows.

The space
Our house offers a sumptuous and spacious living space featuring three luxurious bedrooms (two king beds and one double bed), two and a half bathrooms and a mezzanine office. The house has a bright, open plan that flows through a U-shape and encompasses a true indoor/outdoor experience. Expect mountain views, peaceful nooks, sumptuous bedrooms and spa-like bathrooms. In winter, we have a wood-burning fire and underfloor heating in the bedrooms and bathrooms to create ‘hygge’.

The house is situated in The Lakes eco-estate in the stunning Noordhoek valley. Backing onto Table Mountain National Park, it provides an opportunity to escape and embrace serenity. Whether you are seeking a peaceful retreat, an active outdoor lifestyle, or simply a connection to nature directly from your back gate to the enchanting lakeside walkways. The beautifully designed paths wind their way along the pristine lakeshores to allow you to immerse in a wild environment of plants and wildlife.

Noordhoek itself is renowned for its tranquil atmosphere, breathtaking landscapes, and a
8 kilometer beach; a haven for surfers, horse riders, and beach walkers. The beach is known for its wild, untouched beauty, with its vast sandy shores and majestic views of the ocean and surrounding mountains.
In addition to its beautiful beach, Noordhoek is also home to the Noordhoek Farm Village. This unique destination offers a variety of artisanal shops, boutiques, and restaurants, making it a popular spot for the local community and visitors.

Noordhoek is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes and outdoor activities. The nearby Table Mountain National Park offers numerous hiking trails, including the famous Chapman's Peak hike, which offers hikers with panoramic views of the coastline. The Silvermine Nature Reserve, located just a short drive away, is another popular destination for hiking and swimming.
Noordhoek is also known for its equestrian culture, with several horse riding schools and stables in the area. Horseback riding along the beach or through the scenic countryside.
