NEW FOR 2025 - Welcome to your own piece of tranquillity. This single-storey holiday home has a substantial garden, a landing stage on the Meare, and ample parking. An all-year golf course with a bar/waterside restaurant is a minute away. Interiors are spacious throughout with views of the boating lake from most rooms; bed configurations being a king, double with en-suite, and a twin room.
You’re welcomed into an entrance hall with the cloakroom to the right and double doors ahead giving access to the dining room at the heart of the house, bedrooms and shower rooms through a door and inner hall to the right, the kitchen and living room to the left. The majority of the house is carpeted, other than the kitchen and bathrooms and there is double glazing throughout.
DINING ROOM
Enjoy indoor/outdoor living in this sunny room with stunning views of the Meare and double doors that open to the patio for al fresco dining. This room sits at the heart of the house with the bedrooms off to the right, and both the kitchen and sitting room to the left.
SITTING ROOM
A spacious and sociable sitting room with stunning lake and garden views and ample furniture for family and friends to spend time together watching a movie, playing some games, or simply relaxing.
KITCHEN
This generous kitchen has everything you need to cater at home – a waist-height electric oven with a separate grill, a large free-standing fridge/freezer (fridge 4 shelves and veg drawer, freezer 3 drawers), a washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, a microwave, a dryer, kettle and toaster. Conveniently, there’s a back door to the side of the house for use when coming home with sandy feet and beach gear, keeping any mess from the carpets!

The double bed takes pride of place in this double-aspect room with a walk-in wardrobe, bedside drawers, and chest of drawers so you can unpack and settle in.
En-Suite Shower Room
A chic modern room fitted with a rain shower in the large cubicle, a wash basin, WC, heated towel rail (towels are provided for all guests), and natural light.
GARDEN BEDROOM
Wake to the lake view and double doors giving access to the garden – the perfect spot for morning coffee! The room’s furnished with a king-size bed with bedside drawers, a chair, and ample space to store your clothes in a built-in wardrobe with games and jigsaws too.
TWIN BEDROOM
A lovely light room with full-sized single beds. There are also bedside drawers, a well-stocked bookcase, and doors to the garden with a key for security if needs be.
FAMILY SHOWER ROOM
This newly renovated room has a rain shower in the double cubicle, a washbasin, WC, heated towel rail, medicine cabinet and natural light.
OUTSIDE
Fairway is designed so that you can soak up the surroundings. The patio (accessed from the dining room and two bedrooms) invites you to relax in the fresh air with bags of space on the lawn to run around and play games; and the Meare beckoning you to mess around in a boat. The gravel drive-in/out entrance at the front has ample room for four cars with easy access down either side of the house to wheel bikes to the back for storage.
LOCATION
Thorpeness has so much to offer. If you prefer the sea that is also on your doorstep. Perhaps you are a bird watcher, look no further. If you are a golfer turn left out of the front door. The Dolphin Inn serves excellent food in the garden or by the fire; there's a quaint shop and tea rooms serving ice creams and other tempting treats; The Emporium is a treasure trove of quirkiness; and the Kitchen serves beverages and food throughout the day. There are stunning walks along the beach to nearby Aldeburgh which offers a wide range of eateries, shops and an independent cinema.
Please note that this property has an outdoor security camera to monitor movement by the back door and is purely there for the owners' to observe when the house is vacant.
There is a strict NO PETS policy. Please also remember this regarding any visitors who may wish to bring pets to visit during your stay.
