Don’t count on parking
Parking space is very difficult to get in and out of, especially with anything larger than a compact car. In addition, there was another car parked there on multiple occasions. Very minimal bed linens and towels.

Although advertised as a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home the basement bedroom and bathroom were unusable due to dehumidifier equipment with hoses to the sink actively and very loudly running and removing water. This required us to change sleeping arrangements with the kids. The home advertised a hot tub and this was a primary reason we booked the property but it was unusable according to the host.Communication and thoroughness could be better.When asking for local bakery recommendations for a birthday cake I was given a place that was over 200 kilometers away. Mistakes happen and I was given some alternatives. When asking about the usability of the downstairs bedroom or the status of the hot tub after maintenance looked at it I wasn't given any clear answers. I expressed my disappointment to have rented a home and paid more based on two amenities that were not available to me for this stay but the hosts reply didn't address those concerns, ignoring this point all together.

Thank you for the detailed feedback — we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. Having the basement bedroom and bath unusable because of the dehumidifier, and the hot tub being unavailable, should have been clearly communicated and handled better; that disruption and the impact on your plans is unacceptable. We also regret the incorrect bakery recommendation and the slow, unclear responses from our side.
We will inspect and repair or relocate the dehumidifier setup, confirm hot tub maintenance procedures, and update the listing so any limits on rooms or amenities are obvious before booking. We’re also reviewing our guest-communication process and local recommendation guidance so future guests get faster, accurate answers. Thank you — your comments will help us improve.
