Con una ubicación céntrica entre Boston y Cape Cod, Scituate es una ciudad costera por excelencia con un puerto funcional y acceso a playas, natación, paseos en bote, pesca y senderismo. Boston está a aproximadamente una hora al norte y es accesible en coche, ferry o tren, mientras que el histórico Plymouth está a solo 30 minutos en coche hacia el sur y Cape Cod está un poco más adelante.

Esta casa cuenta con más de 3.000 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable, 5 dormitorios, 2. 5 baños, vistas despejadas al océano y está a unos pasos de la playa de arena Peggotty, que se encuentra en una zona tranquila y privada al comienzo de Third Acantilado. Absolutely perfect home for our large family visit to the beach. From age 78 to 4 everyone enjoyed this fully stocked , clean home including the puppers. Perfect location in a quaint little neighborhood with plenty of stores and restaurants only a short drive away.

Beautiful spot

Our family had an amazing time! Accomodations were perfect, we had plenty of room for 8 adults and 4 children.Communication with the host was outanding. We will definetly consider retuning in the future!

Perfect Vacation House

Our family (ages from 16 to 87) had an ideal week at the beach in this great family home. Terrific location with easy walks to the beach and to town, quiet neighborhood, and spectacular view. Meredith is amazing to work with, and the house is wonderfully well stocked and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better holiday.

Amazing house with spectacular view

My family and I had a great week. The view can not be beat. It is very close to the beach and a little over a mile from a cute downtown that has a great coffee shop and multiple restaurants. The home itself is very spacious, clean and has everything you need for your stay. We will be back!

Wonderful vacation house!

This house was perfect for our group of women ranging in age from 35 - 83. The two main floor bedrooms were perfect for the three elderly women; only a few stairs to climb for them. The deck was our favorite place; we spent most of our time out there when at the house. I got up one morning to watch the sun rise - gorgeous! The house was conveniently located to a beach, restaurants, shopping and the train station. If I every come back to Massachusetts again, I would love to stay here again!

spacious & gracious, with 180 degrees of ocean views. the setting was most accommodating, with enough room for several family members to move about, find their own space & never feel on top of one another. loved learning about the history of scituate & the Irish roots. a restful, relaxing & cleansing getaway. thanks meredith, for sharing your space!

2 weeks with family & friends!

We traveled from Indiana to spend 2 weeks visiting family and friends and the house met our needs, with visitors’ ages ranging from 1 to seniors. Plenty of space and a variety of sleeping accommodations certainly helped! Weather was a challenge at times, with Hurricane Henri and then the remnants of Ida! Ocean was spectacular!

Family getaway

Perfect location, gorgeous views and comfortable home. We wanted a place to get away and relax. And we got just that! Meredith the property owner was very accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here

Wonderful family vacation!

We could not have had a more lovely vacation in Scituate. We wanted a low key vacation (thanks to COVID) and this property provided everything we needed to do that. The deck is just wonderful. From sunrises in the morning to dinner in the evening, we could have spent the entire week on the deck. We had a couple of cold and rainy days, but the house was well equipped to warm us up and keep us entertained once we had spent enough time outside. Meredith was very responsive. We hope we will be able to stay again in the future. Thank you Meredith!

2020 Graduation

My daughter was informed back in March, as were her friends from other schools, that her graduation was being postponed due to COVID19. She and her friends worked very hard to achieve their goal of completing their undergrad degrees for a variety of majors and all graduated with high honors. This property couldn't have been more perfect...the view was absolutely stunning even the afternoon it rained. The backyard was perfect for our mock graduation ceremony. The house is open yet split up enough that we were never ALL in the same place at the same time. The house was clean and there was nothing I needed to bring as far as kitchen utensils, bowls, plates, glasses, etc. There was everything we needed. A gas grill on the back deck, the beautiful lawn in the backyard for lawn games...walking to Peggotty Beach...kids climbing on the rocks. We had an amazing time. The parking is more than ample...we had probably 10 spots and the garage was a godsend on the day I checked in, the skies opened up right at 3 as I was unloading my car from the outside but then opted for the garage and it worked perfectly. The recycling, trash organization was also a great bonus AND basking in the sun on that front deck was just amazing. The only thing that could've possibly made it better would be if we were still there :)

Amazing location

Check in was a breeze and we enjoyed the beautiful ocean views from the deck from the minute we got there. We walked to downtown for coffee every morning and then spent the days at the beach. We cooked in/grilled every night and enjoyed dinner on the deck. Plenty of space for our combined family vacation.

Ocean View from nearly every room

This is a spectacular location with a wonderful view, privacy, AND proximity to the beach. It's a perfect size for three couples and children, with a huge deck overlooking the ocean, a backyard for games, two living rooms, and a first level master suite. It's close to town, conservation area, and an easy drive to Scituate's 5 beaches. Very well equipped, and the owner is highly responsive.

Beautiful view and spacious!

My husband and I rented this home for ourselves and our wedding party including our small dog. Not many owners allowed dogs so we were so happy that this home did! The house itself was fully equipped, clean, and spacious. It had ample parking and a beautiful view of the ocean. Waking up to the breathtaking seaside view on my wedding day was just simply amazing. The home is also a few minutes from Front Street where all the restaurants and cute boutiques are located. It's also less than 10 mins away from Scituate Harbor, where the light house is. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Meredith, who is the owner was also very responsive which we really appreciated given things were so hectic on our end leading up to the wedding day. She got back to our questions very quickly and was helpful. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I am the third generation in my family to own this home. My grandparents purchased this property, what used to be an oversized summer cottage, in 1959 to be able to spend summers by the sea with their growing family. In the mid-80s, wanting to relocate to Scituate permanently, they took down that home and built the home as it stands today. Their eight children then took ownership of the home and more recently, in 2015, I purchased the home from my father and his siblings. This house has been central to family gatherings and lazy weekends and holds a very special place in my heart.

The location of the home is ideal - immediately on the ocean, steps to the beach, a mile to the harbor, among all of the activities in the area (swimming, boating, golfing, exploring the beach and marine life, walking, surfing, hiking, sledding, ice skating) - and offers enough space for even large families to be comfortable.
