Beautiful property with stunning views of the mountain.
The house and the barn are restored inside and out as much as possible to near original condition with knowledge and appreciation for the original building methods and materials. The stone roofs of all the buildings on the property are perfectly restored and they are absolutely spectacular. The spirit and the rural way of life of the 1920s can be felt. It was like stepping back in time.
If one looks for a luxury is not going to find it there, however all the necessities for a comfortable stay are present; fully functional kitchen, clean hot shower and fast internet.
The access to the house is off the main roads and somewhat remote, however the house is strategically located to allow for daily trips to perhaps two dozen places of interest: historic villages and towns, monasteries and museums.
The host, Kalin, was great; very friendly, responding immediately to any correspondence and talking passionately about the restoration process of the property.
