It features 22 stunning individual properties as well as the historic and beautiful Hall itself, which dates back to 1097, having been in the same family for 900 years.

Surrounded by amazing scenery and countryside, this resort offers a huge range of activities and wellness initiatives. Boasting the Avalon Centre, a dedicated state-of-the-art wellbeing retreat centre, they offer a number of classes, groups and sessions that can be booked separately.

The wider estate, being situated just next to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, offers excellent bike rides, walking trails, a mountain bike trail, catered picnic experiences for the summer months, woodland dining, forest bathing, foraging experiences and even a woodland sauna.

The Home
In the heart of Yorkshire is the wonderful 2 Hawthorn Wells, a quaint and charming cottage in a small row right at the heart of the estate offering you peace and relaxation in an unimaginably English setting.

Consisting of 2 spacious bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests with 2 ensuite bathrooms, it’s a cottage that you’ll fall in love with immediately. The location is stunning too, with your own private garden to enjoy in the wider estate, you have acres of woods, nature reserves and wildlife right on your doorstep to enjoy.

Aside from that you have a number of walks and cycling routes in the world famous Yorkshire Dales National Park just a short distance away as well as an excellent local pub within easy walking distance for you to rest and have a few drinks after a good stomp through the hills.

Rest easy, too, that you can bring your favourite furry friends if you want to because we’re pet friendly and love seeing them wandering around our estate enjoying the scenery too.

The country Estate also has the Avalon centre too which means you have a large number of wellness activities and sessions right on your doorstep if you want to book them. There’s also outdoor dining experiences across the estate that you can enjoy either non catered or catered.
