Shepherd's Cwtch, a single-storey shepherd's hut, consists of a kitchen with 2-ring hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, and toaster, and a dining room. The bedroom is a double. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with furniture, hot tub, and picnic bench, and off-road parking for one car. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shepherd's Cwtch is a wonderful escape to Carmarthenshire, whatever time of year. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 2.6 miles, River Towy 0.5 miles. Note: There are four steps up to the property.Please note the property only accepts check ins on Monday and Fridays. There is a good housekeeping bond for 150GB pounds

Town: This pretty market town sits on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This area is popular for walking, fishing and cycling with the Black Mountains, Crychan Forest, Cwm Rhaeadr and the River Towey waiting to be discovered. A walk up to the castle is a must as from here you enjoy the views out across the town to the neighbouring River Bran. After a day spent walking through the beautiful countryside there are many cafés, tea rooms, delis and patisseries for you to relax in. Not to be missed is the annual Sheep Festival which is held every September and celebrates droving, sheep farming and the wool industry. Llandovery is in a fantastic location with something to suit everyone on the doorstep. The village of Llandeilo, a twenty minute drive away, is a pretty market town with a lovely selection of unusual gift shops, eating places and pubs, whilst visits to the medieval Dinefwr and Carreg Cennen Castles add to the charm. Nearby, explore the ruins of Talley Abbey, The National Botanic Garden Of Wales, an array of historic castles, plus a large selection of beautiful sandy beaches and the famous coastal path all within comfortable driving distances.
