City Centre Escape with Private Garden

Our home is right next to the beautiful and expansive Meadows park and just short walk to all the major tourist attractions including The Royal Mile, The Castle and the buzzing Grass Market (where there are lots of pubs and clubs). The private patio is reached from French doors from the master bedroom and is ideal for that early morning coffee.

Our place is great for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids)

Set 600 metres to EICC and 700 metres to Edinburgh Castle.

Was easy to access from the train station via cab, easy to find and access intructions and communications with manager was great.Hot water was turned off on arrival so was cold until heating kicked in after working our the boiler.Bathroom had leaking hose behind the toilet and hotwater was not working well.

Great Spot

The place was clean and accurate to the description. We really enjoyed the neighborhood. It was close to old town, Grassmarket and the train station. If we come again to Edinburgh we will be looking this place up.

It was good! Close to all amenities, could use a good cleaning (carpets,toilet seat needs fixed, some sediment in the watrr lines, kitchen drain smelled bad) Parking isn't great but that's ok.

For the very first since using VRBO I refused to stay in the apartment I rented. I will take part of the blame because I obviously didn’t read the reviews or look at pictures carefully. However, I felt like I was back in college, stains on the carpet, and steep stairs for the loft bed. Wouldn’t recommend!

When booking this apartment it was advertised as a four bedroom two bathroom When we arrived we discovered it was a one bedroom and box room with bed in it and sofa bed in living area, this was not really suited for us as four colleagues from work, the host came to visit us and When he seen that we were not that pleased he did offer full payment back if we wanted to find something more suitable, and told us that apartment had been wrongly advertised,,we were quite disappointed, but at this time of year we were in doubt if we would be able to get an apartment that would be appropriate for us, so we just had to make the apartment work

I was really sorry that somehow when the apartment was copied from another site that the wrong information was taken. Once you let me know I immediately amended the listing and did provide enough beds/bedding for everyone. I do appreciate it was not ideal and I appologised for your inconvienience and suggested we look for an alternative property. I hope it did not unduly affect your enjoyment of Edinburgh.
