Shops nearby, terrible instructions to get there. Sofa bed listed as double, was a single. Wifi was pathetic. Pixelated TV on some channels. Price too high for hot and stuffy apartment

The apartment was well located, but unfortunately our stay was affected by several significant issues.The Wi-Fi was unavailable for the entire four-night stay. This was especially inconvenient because the cellular signal inside the apartment was also very weak, so using our phones as an alternative was difficult. Because the television depended on the internet connection, the TV was also unusable during our stay.We reported the Wi-Fi problem while we were there and spent considerable time trying to get it resolved. I had to troubleshoot the issue, communicate with the host, contact Vrbo while the problem was occurring, and then continue following up afterward regarding compensation. The host initially offered 100, and I ultimately had to escalate the matter through Vrbo before an escalation manager was able to arrange compensation of 150.There was also renovation work taking place in the stairwell during our stay, including painting, plastering and sanding. The area was very dusty, and we had to be careful when entering and leaving the property.The location was a positive, but having no Wi-Fi or working television for the entire stay, very limited cellular service, ongoing dusty renovation work in the access area, and then having to spend so much time pursuing a resolution made the experience considerably less comfortable than expected.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the location, although we're sorry that other aspects of your stay were disappointing. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi disruption was part of a wider issue with the service provider and was outside our direct control. We did our best to get it resolved as quickly as possible, but the provider was unable to offer an earlier engineer appointment, despite our efforts. Regarding the renovation work, the stairwell is a communal area of the building and isn't managed by us. Unfortunately, we have no direct control over when these works take place, but we're sorry for the inconvenience caused. We appreciate your patience while we worked with you and Vrbo to resolve the matter, and we're pleased that compensation was eventually agreed.
