Villa Madrina is a bright and elegant two-story villa built on the sloping cliff in front of the sea. It sleeps six people. From Villa Madrina you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea, of Praiano and the coast of Amalfi. Villa Madrina is 200 square meters (2150 square feet). It features two panoramic private terraces, private patios, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the heart of Praiano, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation and the beach. You will find the closest restaurant at 100 meters (330 feet), a grocery store at 150 meters (490 feet), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line at 120 meters (390 feet) and the closest beach (Spiaggia della Gavitella) at roughly 700 meters (770 yards) including 350 stairway steps. You will reach Villa Madrina from the street level along a 100-meters (330-feet) public walkway that includes approximately 75 stairway steps.
You will not need a car to stay at Villa Madrina. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot (where a space can be reserved).

Garden
The garden is 2000 square meters (21500 square feet). It is partly shaded by a perfumed lemon pergola and by a characteristic pergola with a bamboo roof. The garden is equipped with armchairs, as well as with tables, chairs and sun loungers. From the garden you will enjoy a spectacular view of the sea, the Li Galli islands and Praiano and of the greenery.
Entrance LevelTerrace 1
The first terrace is 18 square meters (194 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a retractable awning. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, of Praiano and the coast of Amalfi.
Terrace 2
The second terrace is 18 square meters (194 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a retractable awning. It is equipped with chairs and two deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a thrilling view of the sea, the Li Galli islands and Praiano and of Positano.
Patio 1
The first patio is 60 square meters (645 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a porch and by tall trees. It is equipped with a wrought-iron bench and with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a broad view of the greenery.
Living Room
The living room is paved with wood. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable, and include a sofa and two armchairs. In this room you will find an upright piano (please contact us before making your reservation if you plan to use the piano, as we need to make sure that it is in working order). The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the first terrace through a French door. The room also has two windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the entrance hall through an access area. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate three guests. The kitchen has a window.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room and from the entrance hall. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include an armchair, a wood bench and a desk. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the second terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bathtub with fixed shower head and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom climbing one step.
Bedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room through an access area. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include two bedroom chairs. The room has two windows with a view of the sea, as well as a small high window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room through an access area.
Laundry room
You will be able to reach the laundry room from the first patio through an external access. Here you will find a washing machine, a clothes dryer, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal. Bottom LevelPatio 2
The second patio is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is shaded by an elegant porch. It is equipped with two sofas. From the patio you will enjoy a lovely view of the garden and of the sea.
Patio 3
The third patio is 30 square meters (320 square feet) large. It is equipped with a sun umbrella, two deck chairs and two sun loungers. From the patio you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of the garden.
Bedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the second patio through an external access. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). In the bedroom there is a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a three-burner electric cooker, a refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker. There is a table that can accommodate two guests. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). The room also has a porthole window, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
