About the host

Hi,
I'm a proud mother of six & grandmother to 3 (so far!)

I have a passion for interesting property, beautiful interiors and making people around me happy- so a combination of hosting & property staging, is the perfect way to wallow in all things I enjoy.

I operate under my company TREASURED HOMES & enjoy hosting guests & making their stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Giving them a wonderful experience is paramount for me.

Why they chose this property

Dorney Village is such a unique place that takes you back in time.

From it's location right next to a beautiful stretch of The River Thames. This quiet & pretty village is home to two pubs, both easily within walking distance of the house, and both serving excellent food in a warm and welcoming environment.
The house is located across the road from both Dorney Court - a privately owned stately home which is also a venue for beautiful weddings & Dorney Lake, owned by the prestigious Eton College, which is the rowing lake that was used as the venue for rowing during London Olympics 2012.
Just a stones throw from the house is the beaufiful Dorney Common, an unfenced common that is home to local cattle.... They do walk onto the road and just stand there sometimes, so be aware! From the Common you can see the very recognisable & grand silhouette of Windsor Castle.
Eton Wick & Eton are the next villages along, with a bridge foot crossing into Windsor and the castle.
Great location for connections to M4, London Heathrow and London itself.

What makes this property unique

Dorney Cottage is part of the Treasured Homes Collection and Dorney Court Estate.
It is a completely unique property, offering warmth and cosiness alongside the grandeur of the Great Hall.
The bathrooms and kitchen are modern but fitting, so you get the experience of this 16th century property and the benefits of modern luxury.
The setting of the cottage in its own private, walled grounds is also very impressive and you truly feel like you're in your own little sanctuary, away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life.
Offering ample secure parking, there's not much you'd wish for that this property doesn't offer you.
Having hosted 100's of happy guests, I'm confident that a stay at Dorney Cottage will give you many happy memories and make your stay very special.
