The cottage is set on a tranquil hillside with incredible views of the surrounding countryside. Immersed in nature, this rustic retreat for 2 is ideally set up for al fresco living with plenty of outside space. Guests can relax on the terrace with a good book and a glass of local wine, cook meals on the BBQ and dine al fresco.

The apartment is arranged over one floor and features a large open-plan living space with panoramic views and a spacious kitchen fitted with; a dining table, gas cooker hob, an oven, an American style coffee machine and a fridge.

The cosy bedroom enjoys a small balcony and is furnished with a double bed, a digital flatscreen TV and a large wardrobe.

The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a washbasin and a WC.

Location
The property is situated on the wine-growing hill of Trška Gora in southeastern Slovenia, near the border with Croatia. This area is loved by hikers and known for its charming vineyard cottages and famous Cviček wine. There is a network of marked footpaths (of varying difficulty) and cycle paths across the landscape and a golf club (Golf Grad Otočec) a 15-minute drive away.

The accommodation is a 12-minute drive from Novo Mesto’s historic Old Town (Stari trg) where visitors can explore historic landmarks including the Franciscan Monastery and the Dolenjska Museum. Visitors can also sample regional wines at local wineries and enjoy traditional Slovenian cuisine. Vinska klet Colnar Winery is an 8-minute drive away.

Other popular excursions include a trip to the historic town of Brežice (a 30-minute drive) where guests can visit Brezice Castle, a Renaissance fortress that houses the Posavje Museum or take a trip to the thermal spas of Terme Čatež. There are several restaurants within a 5-minute drive and two supermarkets an 8-minute drive away.

The closest international airport is Zagreb International Airport (ZAG) in Croatia which is just over an hour\'s drive away.
