Born and raised in a family of traditional "Xavelhas" they are the children of dedicated fisherman fathers and loving mothers who had a passion for sewing. Despite the challenges, Madeira's breathtaking beauty—the ever-present sea and the abundance of fresh fish, including the iconic "Peixe Espada Preta"—was a source of comfort and joy.

In search of better opportunities, they made the difficult decision to emigrate but always held a dream of returning to their beloved Madeira. Valuing their roots and the legacy they left behind, this home stands as a testament to their dedication, resilience, and a heartfelt tribute to their parents.
