Laura’s house was so spacious and well appointed. She gave us an early checkin and late checkout and was incredibly responsive. The highlights were the Texas-shaped pools, gathering spaces, luxurious bedding, and plenty of beds to spread out in!

We had such a wonderful stay and made so many special family memories here! We have a large family and gather every year for our annual family reunion, so finding a property that can truly accommodate all of us can be difficult. We were thrilled to find this beautiful home!The property is absolutely gorgeous and feels very private, with plenty of space between neighbors and private access to the river. At the same time, it was close enough to Blanco that we could easily run into town for groceries or make a quick trip to the coffee shop.What we appreciated most was how well the home accommodated our family. Everyone had a bed to sleep in and there was also plenty of indoor space for all of us to gather together, especially in the dining and living areas. We had some rainy weather during our stay, but the size and layout of the house meant it didn’t put a damper on our trip at all. The game room was a hit, and there was plenty of table space for puzzles, games, meals, and just spending time together.Outside, there was something for everyone. The kids loved swimming in the pool, fishing, flying kites, playing cornhole, making smores and enjoying the river. It really had all the right spaces for us to do the things we love doing together as a family. One small negative was the stickers in the grassy area around the property which made it difficult for our smaller kiddos and tracking in the house. Overall we would ABSOLUTELY recommend this property!!!

Such an exceptional home! So many things to do and so much room for my big family. Such a comfy feeling. Exceptional bedding. Private. Loved the firepit. Made beautiful memories with my family. Host was attentive.

Host was easy to communicate with. Perfect for a family. Lots of activities for kids. Unfortunately the Blanco River was dry but the kids had fun playing in the rocks. If you plan to do a lot of cooking you may want to bring your own utensils. They have many but they are quiet warn out. I highly recommend this property for a family or large group.

Our stay at the Blanco Valley Lodge was incredible! We were celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday with our kids and grandkids. There was something for everyone! The updated and renovated house was perfect!

Absolute gorgeous property!! This home accommodated family and friends for a college graduation celebration. The isolated location made for a peaceful retreat yet still only 8 minutes away from the main town. Highly recommend for large gatherings with each room providing multiple beds and perfect for multiple families. Laura is a gracious host and very responsive to any concerns or requests. Would love to stay here again!

Great family gathering place.

The house is fabulous. It had really high end furnishings. We had 30 family members and we were all comfortable. The large dining family was great for family meals and our family bingo night. Laura was a great hostess. We highly recommend this place.

Beautiful house and great experience

Celebrated my 30th birthday here with some friends and we had an amazing time. The beds were very comfortable, the amenities were great and overall everything was lovely. My boyfriend ended up proposing in front of the river which made for a beautiful setting! Thank you so much for having us. Would definitely book again!
