Where to start.
The expectation of unit size in Paris is well known to be small. However, false information in the size of the property (listed as 193.8 sq ft and was actually no larger than 120). This in and of itself is grounds for concern and financial compensation.
Let’s move onto the unsafe conditions. Upon arrival it was noted (and I contacted the host) informing them the gate to the dimly lit claustrophobic hallway was not locking as well as the inside handle in the room itself kept falling off.
Aside from this, I’m unsure there was a smoke detector, the egress window lead to the pipe system with no exit otherwise available.
Lastly, being a larger male myself while sharing the room with another guest (listed as sleeps 2). A rickety frame with a 2 inch mattress for the pullout twin/double fold out couch as the sleeping quarters is just insult to actual injury.
I’ll gladly make further negative comments, however, the points I’ve made so far has yet to allow me to garner even one timely response from Expedia, VRBO (each telling me to discuss with the other or contact the “host” myself (which I did to inform them of the unsafe front gate and main door to which I received an untranslatable response I couldn’t understand)
Can someone please contact me to discuss this. Chat attempts have failed to get anywhere and multiple phone calls I’ve abandoned after lengthy waits gone unanswered
