Welcome to Plodda Lodge @ Lochletter Lodges, your cosy haven in the picturesque Scottish Highlands. This charming 3-bedroom lodge, which sleeps up to six people, features a spacious living and kitchen area, perfect for family gatherings or a serene couple’s retreat. Up to two dogs (alongside their responsible owners) are warmly welcomed allowing you to bring your whole family.

With modern amenities including a smart-TV, DVD player, washing machine, microwave, and fridge/freezer, your comfort is assured. Stay connected with free Wi-Fi and enjoy the convenience of parking space for two cars right next to your lodge. Plodda Lodge has some accessible design features including a wet room with grab rails and lower shower controls. On request we can provide a shower/commode wheelchair and a raised toilet seat.

Nestled within the heart of picturesque Glen Urquhart, Lochletter Lodges is surrounded by hills, woodland, and fields. You'll enjoy privacy and serenity while being only 5 miles from the charming village of Drumnadrochit for shops, restaurants and the iconic Loch Ness. Take leisurely walks to Loch Meiklie, just a 5-minute stroll away, or embark on adventures along the many scenic walking routes accessible directly from the lodges, including the renowned Affric-Kintail Way. With spectacular Glen Affric (often referred to as Scotland’s most beautiful glen) and the hidden gem of Glen Strathfarrar just a short drive away to see some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery.

Explore the rich cultural history of the area, including Urquhart Castle and the Loch Ness Visitor Centre in Drumnadrochit, or venture to nearby Tomich (home of the Golden Retriever) to take in the delights of this Victorian model conservation village. With Inverness and Fort Augustus within a 30-minute drive, and day trips to the Isle of Skye, the Cairngorms, and Fort William, adventure is within easy reach.

Your self-catering stay includes a fully equipped kitchen, bed linen, towels, as well as a hand and tea towel to accompany the washing-up set. General heating, hot water and lighting are included with your stay, with an electric coin meter for additional heating and hot water should that be required. A coin operated tumble dryer is available in the laundry shed, along with a collection of DVDs and board games to enjoy during your stay. A travel cot and a highchair are also available on request.
