The apartment is as perfect for what we needed. It was an amazing location, right on the Seine and central to everything. It was modern, clean, and allowed the six of us (me, my husband and our four late teen/early 20s children) to have sufficient space to be apart and also together when we wanted. Even though it was on the ground floor, it was a relatively quiet part of the isle so we never were bothered by the noise. Absolutely loved it for our 3 day trip to Paris

Die Couch im Wohnbereich ist unglaublich unbequem und fleckig. Die Wohnung (vor allem die Schlafzimmer) war unangenehm heiß, und es gab keine Möglichkeit, die Heizung zu regulieren. Es gibt zwar eine Waschmaschine und einen Geschirrspüler, aber kein Waschmittel. Das Waschbecken im Badezimmer im Obergeschoss spülte sehr langsam. Für vier Übernachtungen für vier Personen waren nur drei Kaffeepads vorhanden, und es gab keine Milch. Ich würde diese Wohnung trotz der idealen Lage nicht empfehlen.

Die Kommunikation während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts war äußerst enttäuschend. Wir hatten für einen frühen Check-in bezahlt, erhielten aber trotz mehrerer Versuche, den VRBO-Support zu kontaktieren, keine Bestätigung. Erst nach zwei Tagen meldete sich die Hausverwaltung. Das Internet funktionierte nie, und auch hier dauerte es zwei Tage, bis sich jemand darum kümmerte. Der Trockner funktioniert ebenfalls nicht, und wir erhielten keinerlei Hilfestellung oder Informationen zur Bedienung. Das Haus selbst ist charmant und in einer fantastischen Lage, aber die mangelnde Kommunikation und Unterstützung der Hausverwaltung haben unseren Aufenthalt deutlich stressiger gemacht, als er hätte sein müssen.

I submitted a rating of this rental property, and my rating was subsequently removed from their website. I simply stated the floors at the site were not to my satisfaction, and there was a strong musty odor emanating from the washing machine. Overall, the location is well-positioned and convenient, which is not a significant issue. I was simply disappointed that they chose to eliminate a truthful rating.

This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit has one bedroom and one bathroom in the basement. This is not clear in the unit decription, but it should be. Many people do not want to sleep in a basement especially on a trip to Paris. The management is impersonal and poor. Belvilla by OVO used "Checkmyguest" fr for managing our booking. There was never a person to quickly or easily speak or email with like I am used to with VRBO or other vacation rental management companies. I spent many Euros on hold on phone calls trying to confirm a late check-out request. I coudn't get through and trusted the online process. This was a mistake. We returned 45 min before our late check out time, which we were charged for, to find we were locked out of our rental. We had to call and get a new code. Thankfully got through with minimal hold time and got a new door code. The entire experience was so impersonal and unappealing. The phone calls were long hold times and bad connections. The support staff sounded like they were in a call center in India. If Belvilla and "checkmyguest" actually read this, here are some unit specific recommendations. If you are going to use a computer-based property management system, then embrace it. Put all the possible information needed on your platform, like how to sort the recycling and where to put trash. Put instructions for the use of dishwasher and clothes washer. Put some highlights for restaurants and activities in the area. The unit toiletries promised on website were skimpy and heavily packaged small bottles. There were two bars of hand soap for 4 sinks. I would recommend more sustainable system of soaps, shampoos, etc that are refillable and larger. We had a reservation for 4 people and got 2 small bottles of body wash. The furnishings are sparse and we had to put our roller luggage on the floor. Since the unit sleeps 4 comfortably, I would recommend 4 foldable luggage stands be purchased for the unit.
