The Space:
You have full use of all amenities in the flat: oven, dishwasher and kitchenware in the kitchen, washer/dryer in the bathroom, heaters, fans and projector in the living room.
The double-height ceiling in the living room. Lots of light throughout the flat thanks to windows at the front and a skylight from the top, which has views over London. There is an extra bed on a mezzanine level above the kitchen.
Each room has a radiator. There are storage heater and an extra Dyson heater/ fan in the livingroom.
Guest Access:
It has great travel links with many bus stops right outside of the flat to go to Shoreditch, Liverpool st and central London, Soho.
Hackney Central and Hackney Downs overground stations are about 10 mins walk away.
There are steps to the main entrance of the building, and a lift to our floor.
I've lived here for the last 6 years, my favourite neighbourhood in the city. It ’s close to some local cafes, restaurants, pubs and parks. If you have any questions about neighbourhood, please ask me!
The Neighborhood:
Located in trendy Hackney/Clapton, with lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from.
We also have some great shopping nearby, with Burberry and Nike outlet stores five minutes' walk away in Hackney.
Getting Around:
20-30 mins overground to Liverpool St station.
30-40 mins overground/tube to Oxford Circus.
30 mins overground/tube to Kings Cross/St Pancras.
Lots of buses available right outside the flat to go pretty much anywhere in London.
Other Things to Note:
As noted in the main description, there is some road noise at night. This hasn't been a big problem for guests but may bother you if you're a light sleeper. The water pressure can be low - this is pretty standard in the old buildings in London.
House rules::::
The other side of our kitchen wall is connecting to a bedroom of our neighbour, please reduce noise after 10 pm.
No unregistered guests are allowed on the property at any time due to an insurance policy.
No party, smoke and drug in the flat.
Interaction with Guests:
Either we or a friend will meet you to exchange keys at the start of your stay. I’ll be available via phone/SMS/ etc throughout your stay in case you have any questions.
