Airy 1850s Coach House with Private Balcony - Pass the Keys
My bright and spacious 1850s coach house offers a stylish retreat in vibrant Hackney, blending historic charm with modern luxury. Recently renovated, it features a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a rainfall shower, and a private balcony. Enjoy fibre optic internet, a Smart TV, and a generous library. Ideally located near London Fields and Broadway Market, with excellent transport links from Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction, it's the perfect East London base.
Spanning over three floors, my thoughtfully designed home combines original period details with modern comforts.
Ground floor:
The open-plan living and dining area is filled with natural light, creating a welcoming space to relax. French windows open out on to the sunny courtyard, where jasmine blooms from May to July, filling the air with its beautiful floral scent. The living space features a Smart TV (apps to use with your own accounts), a large, comfy sofa and a dining table with chairs. The brightly lit kitchen, positioned at the rear of the house, is well-equipped for those who love to cook, featuring appliances, including a five-ring gas hob, dishwasher, and a fresh coffee bean machine. Original wooden floors downstairs add character, enhancing the home’s historic charm.
First floor: The original 1800s staircase leads to the first floor, where you'll find the house bathroom, a double bedroom, and a generous-sized office room. The bathroom is illuminated by a skylight, enhancing its bathtub with a rainfall and handheld shower. The double bedroom offers a spacious wardrobe and private balcony, providing a peaceful outdoor retreat and calming views over the neighbourhood. The office room, designed for work or reading, features a curated book collection and a standing desk.
A staircase from the office leads to the attic-level bedroom, featuring a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, plus under-eaves storage, and a dedicated hanging space. A Velux skylight bathes this room in soft, natural light, making it a tranquil and cosy hideaway.
This prime Hackney location is just moments from London Fields, the charming Broadway Market, and countless independent shops and eateries. After exploring, you'll appreciate returning to this tranquil space.
For your convenience, I provide complimentary tea, coffee, travel-sized toiletries, washing-up essentials, and bathroom necessities to start your stay. Should you need additional supplies, there's a well-stocked store just minutes away on Wilton Way.
You have access to the entire property with no disruptions. Should a maintenance query occur, you will be asked permission first before we access the property to carry out a repair.
The essential, but less exciting parts!:
Check-in/ check-out:
Our standard check-in time is after 3 pm. Check-out is before 11 am. If you wish to check in or check out outside these hours please let us know. This is subject to availability and a fee. Please be on time when checking out. Our cleaners are often there at 11 am on the dot and have a busy schedule. A £20 charge per half an hour will be applied for unauthorised late check-outs or early check-ins.
Keys: Specific instructions are given a day before check-out to ensure keys are placed in the key safe when departing the property. If instructions are not followed, this will cause a delay in my cleaner's access and impact their schedule for the rest of the day. As a result, there will be a fine of £50.
A £50 fee is charged for call out if you forget the keys and lost keys are charged at £100 for replacement locks. Please be careful with them.
Parking: There is no parking space on the property. The are many cost-efficient ways to find a parking space online or with apps:
- RingGo for pay-as-you-go on-street parking
Local residents in the neighborhood sometimes advertise their parking spaces at reasonable rates through apps like JustPark or YourParkingSpace.
PLEASE NOTE, if hiring a Zip Car, parking is not included in their charges, therefore must also be purchased in addition with the use of the car.
Family facilities: A travel cot is available to rent for the duration of your stay. It is £40 for the rental, drop off and pick up of the cot. Bedding for the cot is not provided so please bring your own. If you would also like to include the use of a high chair as well, the cost will be £45 in total.
Smoking: Smoking is strictly forbidden. A fine of £200 will be charged when discovered.
Additional guests: No extra guests are allowed in the property at any time without prior permission and no parties/loud music allowed. We are very conscious of being in a residential area and any violation of either rule will incur a £250 fine.
Lost property: Please be careful not to leave anything behind when you checkout! A separate company deals with shipping lost property and charge a minimum £25 per item, plus shipping costs.
Linen Policy for Extended Stays For stays over 21 nights, our professional linen service requires a refresh every 21 days. You can choose between: Fresh Linen Supply – A new set of bed linen and towels delivered, with used ones collected. Linen Rehire – Keep the current set, which will be collected for cleaning after departure. Both options are available at the same cost.
Property Management Services:
Pass the Keys® provides a hotel standard of service for short-let properties. The property is professionally maintained and cleaned. We guarantee professionally cleaned linens and toiletries. We also provide 24/7 guest support and local personal service before and during your stay. The local community-based team of Pass the Keys® personally inspects the property and certifies the home has met Pass the Keys®’s Property Readiness Standard.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property. Pets - not allowed Smoking - not allowed

exactly as shown on VRBO, very comfortable layout for adult family of four gathering for good times in London. Wilton Way is a special little neighborhood that leads to parks and markets on weekends by simply walking. The Prince George pub on corner is a wonderful place, great food, vibe community, wraps up early each night. The flat is quiet, open doors to balcony, patio (let the air flow in when not raining). access to main road, bus and underground easy, close. Short walk to grab breakfast at All Press, grocery store 2 blocks away. Definitely will return to this Wilton Way flat which proved to be easy fun stay.
