Notes
- The "Bay House" sits near Lake Tenkiller with many sports activities, fishing tournaments, boating, skiing, paddle boarding, snorkel, diving (2 dive shops on Lake Tenkiller), and simply relaxing. There are many marinas on Lake Tenkiller, some with floating restaurants (during summer season), fuel, snacks bait and fishing supplies. "Piddles Resort and restaurant" is just down the hill and offers lunch, dinning and drinks. The outside garden area has weekend entertainment and bands. Tulsa is the closest international airport which is 1 hour away. Two private airport for private planes are both 20 minutes away at Tahlequah and Cookson. It is also 15 minutes from downtown Tahlequah, which is the home of the Cherokee Nation. There are many historical sites, museums, shopping, casino, Northeastern University,

We have been at the Bay House for 32 years, raised our family here and enjoyed this beautiful area. When we became empty nesters we opted for a smaller place, but wanted others to be able to experience our little piece of paradise. We hope you will consider staying here and vacationing. Why Chuck and Vickie Love chose Pettit
We often came from Kansas to this area to vacation on the Illinois River and Lake Tenkiller. It had the best of both worlds. We love floating the river and boating on the lake. We knew this was where we wanted to live. We purchased this house and over the years the house was remodeled and became much more spacious and family accomodating. We have put a lot of work into our yard and created a well maintained park-like environment. Its just a great place to relax and enjoy family and friends.
