4 The Barns, a cottage over three floors, consists of a lower-ground-floor kitchen/diner with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, dining table for six, a first-floor sitting room with woodburning stove and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a second-floor king-size, an adult bunk (double below, single above), and twin, along with a bathroom, shower room, and cloakroom. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a multi-level, rear garden with patio, lawn, and furniture, bike storage and roadside parking available nearby. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 4.8 miles, pub 0.6 miles, river 0.5 miles. Visit 4 The Barns for your next adventure. Note: There are steps both internally and externally they may make the property not suitable for those with mobility issues. Note: AGA Rayburn cooker is for display only. There is a good house keeping bond for 350 pounds sterling. The property can only accept check in on Monday and Fridays

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
Town: Ulverston is a traditional market town built around a cobbled main street. It boasts a fine selection of independent shops, café’s, and pubs with open fires and real ales. There is an extensive selection of eating places to suit everyone, from fine dining to traditional pub food. Ulverston is also well known as a festival town, with events ranging from flags and walking to art and music festivals throughout the summer months and with the renowned Dickensian Christmas festival in late November. It is the birthplace of Stan Laurel and world record holder of the biggest foam pie fight in the world giving a glimpse into the fun community spirited little town. There are excellent walks around the town and beautiful countryside, with views of the southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Home to the deepest, widest and shortest canal, which makes for a lovely afternoon walk with a pub at the end and views over the bay. All of the attractions of the National Park are also easily reached. The Furness Coast boasts sandy beaches and good birdwatching. Nearby family attractions include the South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Lakes Windermere and Coniston and popular Birkrigg Common, with its incredible panoramic views across Morecambe Bay.
