A wonderfully positioned 3 bedroom property located just a 5 minute walk from the city centre and positioned right next to the well renowned 'Bishy Road' area of York with a whole host of great independent cafes and eateries. The property also comes with permitted parking for 1 car.

The property itself is located within the award wining, grade 2 listed Clementhorpe Maltings development. Recently developed from an old 19th century Malthouse the building retains some wonderful features from this period. Internally the property is set over 4 floors and benefits from fabulous interior design throughout.

The lower floor of the property features a fantastic cinema room. A really unique feature amongst York holiday lets. A large wall mounted TV and comfy bean bags, will ensure a great area for a family film night, grab your popcorn and pop on your favourite movie!

The first floor of the accommodation features the king size bedroom along with one of the double rooms. The bathroom for the property is also on this floor and features a bath and freestanding shower.

Taking the stairs to the next floor you'll find the main living area. Superbly presented with a wonderful mix of contemporary style with period features. The kitchen features granite worktops along with all the appliances you'd expect of a high end property. There is a dining area to easily seat 6 for a fabulous dinner or sumptuous brunch.

The lounge area has comfortable sofas, ideal for a cosy evening in discussing the following days adventures!

The top floor of the property has a further double room complete with a toilet en-suite.

This property will be the ideal place to stay when visiting the Historic City of York - either with friends or family - Enjoy!

Great location. Lovely furnished. Only thing I would change is shower a bit small . Would stay again but think it would be a bit of a squish for 6 people

Quirky & Cool & Location.

Let’s get the only niggle we had out of the way which was no blind in the Velux top floor bedroom window, when daylight broke you was awake. The apartment is quirky, cool, comfortable and well appointed, high quality furniture etc! Parking was easy, the location to the town is great, lots of local pubs literally a couple of minutes walk….highly recommend this property and we most definitely would stay again!

Great stay in an excellent location

First thing to say is that this is a stunning building, beautifully restored. The apartment itself is great, spread over four floors, okay for six although the top room is quite small and the second bathroom on the top floor is only a toilet and basin - only one shower/bathroom. The cinema room is great! And the location is perfect - ten minutes walk over the river to the centre of York and two minutes away from the excellent shops and restaurants on Bishopthorpe Rd.
