Short walk to Broad Street giving access to the popular Stamford Friday Market, many Pubs, Shops & Facilities. Tastefully decorated. Two bedrooms, family bathroom with roll top bath and walk in shower.
Kitchen/Diner/Lounge with sofa bed. Two parking spaces, Pet Friendly. Anvil Bungalow is new to VRBO but has been previously available on Tripadviser since 2016 with many 4 & 5 star reviews. Please message if you require further information.

Another lovely stay at Anvil bungalow. Ideal position in Stamford with secure parking and close by to centre. Beautiful comfortable bungalow which is dog friendly and just a short stroll away is a park ideal for dog walking. We would not stay anywhere else now when visiting Stamford

Lovely bungalow in a central location with two parking spaces. Easy walking distance to high st, shops, restaurants and theatre. Three adults stayed and we were all happy with it and would stay there again if visiting Stamford again.

This perfect little flat provided wonder amenities for our family. The flat was homey and warm, and our communication with our host was prompt and reflected that they took pride in their listings. It was wonderful!

What a find! We found this property on a last minute search for wedding accommodation. It's in a great location, tucked away in a private gated estate, so it was lovely and quiet. Two parking spaces on the property is a rare find and it is close enough to town that you can easily walk there in minutes. The property is lovely. It was really clean and homely. Lynette was a really welcoming host and was really accommodating with our late booking. She generously let us arrive early and depart late which made our stay very easy and relaxing especially with two small children. The added touch of leaving chocolates and biscuits was greatly appreciated, especially by our little one, and was a lovely added touch which made us feel more welcome. We have already had requests from family members to share details of the property for their future visits. We would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

Very well located place for everything in Stamford

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in July. Lynette let us in early on the first day and we were allowed to stay a bit later. This is really appreciated when there’s no one staying just before or after. Some of the access and departure times are still as bad as during Covid! The bungalow is in a lovely quiet gated development within easy walking distance of everything in Stamford town, including Waitrose. The 2 parking spaces are a great addition. The bungalow is very well equipped. Hot water was good and the main bedroom didn’t get too hot even though it was very warm when we stayed. The little courtyard is lovely too. We would definitely stay here again.

Well-Appointed Home in a Peaceful Location

We had a wonderful weekend at this property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The location is ideal—quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently close to everything Stamford has to offer. The house itself was spotless and very well appointed, with all the amenities we could have asked for. From the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, it’s clear the owners put thought into making sure guests feel right at home. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the overall cleanliness and comfort of the space. We loved Stamford and would happily return to the house for another stay. Thanks again for a great experience!
