Pretty Villa

We visited October13 to 20 2022. Beautiful Villa, very clean inside and out, well kept pretty gardens, but pool could be cleaner. The best views would be from the back of the villa but high trees block most of the views and all of the sun permanently from the back of the villa (unfortunately they do not reduce the constant road noise, day and night). The drive down to the villa is basically an off road, long narrow steep dirt track (close to a mile long) that you would never take a car down if you were following a sat nav address, but no address is given, you meet with the owner on a road and follow the owner down in his 4x4 (who kindly stopped a couple of times to remove rocks as he drove down it). On a possitive note, this makes the villa safe as no one is coming down tje dirt track except for the fruit pickers. Gardens definately not safe for young children as steep drops from garden perimeter (not a problem for us). Shower is a dismal dribble but its warm, so thats a plus. Supermarkets lidl and coop are only about a 10-15 minute drive away in Ribera, thank goodness for them as there are no local resturants within an hours drive open at this time of year (even though google says otherwise, trust me we tried many, at all different times and on many evenings). So if going out to eat is what you enjoy, do not visit this area at this time of year. Do not expect any welcome package at the villa (not even water, coffee, tea or milk), even though it is a couple of hours from tje airport and there is no local shop (thankfully there was loo roll and hand soap). Also we got so many mosquito bites, thought this may be because we were in the orange groves but after speaking to many other people on the journey home who suffered just as many mosquito bites, i am assuming that it must be more to do with the time of year.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est très agréable et très grande. Nous avons bien profiter de la piscine et de la grande terrasse à l’arrière de la maison.Le propriétaire a répondu rapidement à nos demandes..J’ai mis 4 étoiles au lieu de 5 sur l’emplacement à cause de la route SS115 qui passe en dessous, mais ce n’est pas infernal non plus.La maison est au milieu des oliviers et des orangers, chemin un peu tout terrain pour y accéder.Je recommande cette location pour y passer est très bon séjour

Traumurlaub in idyllischer Lage – perfekt für Familien!

Wir haben als 5-köpfige Familie eine fantastische Zeit in dieser abgelegenen, idyllischen Unterkunft verbracht. Eingebettet zwischen Orangen- und Olivenplantagen konnten wir hier wunderbar entspannen. Die Umgebung ist unglaublich ruhig und bietet genau das, was man sich für eine Auszeit vom Alltag wünscht. Die Unterkunft selbst war absolut sauber und genauso schön wie auf den Bildern. Der Garten war einfach herrlich – genauso, wie wir es erwartet hatten. Wir haben die lauen Sommernächte auf der großzügigen Terrasse hinter dem Haus genossen, und jeden Morgen konnten wir auf der Sonnenterrasse in aller Ruhe frühstücken. Besonders toll war, dass unser großer Sohn sein eigenes kleines Häuschen hatte, was ihm und uns viel Raum für Privatsphäre gegeben hat. Ein schöner Sandstrand ist nur 10 Minuten entfernt und war traumhaft schön – ein Highlight für uns alle! Auch der Pool war völlig in Ordnung und bot eine tolle Möglichkeit, sich zwischendurch abzukühlen. Alles in allem war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub, der uns die perfekte Mischung aus Entspannung und Erholung bot.

Belle découverte de la Sicile

Nous avons louer la maison de vacance de Salvatore ,un homme très gentil et à l’écoute . Il a été patient sur notre arrivée car nous étions en retard . La maison est spacieuse ,une bonne literie ,plein de petits salons extérieurs et la piscine super entre ombre des palmiers et soleil . En cuisine il manque un peu de matériel mais on s’est adapté .Le chemin d’accès est un peu hors sentier , on avait une Fiat 500 c’était limite pour une voiture basse . Sinon personnes autour de nous à part les animaux des alentours et une belle vue sur le coucher de soleil . En tout cas nous avons passé des superbes vacances entre grillades et vin siciliens et visite de la région .

Ein Haus in der Einsamkeit von Orangen- und Olivenbäumen

Wer die Einsamkeit sucht und trotzdem in kurzer Zeit am Sanstrand relaxen will, ist hier genau richtig. Die Zugangsstraße ist sehr steinig und steil und man hört in einiger Entfernung die Straße, aber das Haus ist in absoluter Einsamkeit ohne störende Nachbarn. Die Hunde konnten frei herumlaufen und der Pool und die große Schattenterrasse waren einfach wundervoll. Der Vermieter ist sehr höflich und hilfsbereit.

Toller Urlaub

Bis auf ein paar Drohnen die jede Nacht in der Umgebung Umherfliegen war es ein super Urlaub das Grundstück ist toll gelegen man muss nur bedenken daß Italien nicht die besten Straßenverhältnisse hat mit einem Neuwagen sollte man besser nicht dort Urlaub machen unser Fahrzeug hat es so Grade überlebt 😅 trotz allem ein schöner Ort zum Entspannen mit einen sehr schönen Garten Bereich.

Bella Villa con bellissima piscina

La villa è molto bella, con una bella piscina e tantissimo spazio ben curato esterno. Tanta tranquillità immersi in piante di Arance e Mandorle. Un po' troppo isolata, per chi non è abituato, ma può essere anche un lato positivo. Internamente è ben arredata e fornita. Qualcosa da migliorare può essere il bagno e la fornitura di pentolame. Nel complesso veramente una bella villa e un ottimo soggiorno

Leider keine 5 Sterne!

Leider entsprechen die Beschreibung des Hauses sowie die Fotos nicht der Realität. Das Haus kann man nicht mit 5 Sternen anbieten: angeblich atemberaubende Ausssicht ist nicht vorhanden, weil zugewuchert; der Verkehr auf der unterhalb des Hauses gelegenen Schnellstrasse ist am Tag und in der Nacht nicht zu überhören u. tlw. sehr störend; die Möblierung der Villa antspricht nicht den Fotos, speziell die Sofas im Wohnzimmer und die Terassenmöbel, am Pool nur 2 Liegen ( Villa ist für 6 Personen !) mit sehr einfachen dünnen Auflagen; Moskitonetz über dem Bett nicht benutzbar, da sehr verstaubt; keinerlei Kleiderschränke; zur Küche: zwar groß, jedoch alte muffige Schränke mit verdorbenen Lebensmitteln (wir fanden eine Kiste mit verklumptem Mehl und Zucker vor), der Ofen ist ein verrosteter Minibackofen 30 cm breit, die Dunstabzugshaube ist nur Deko, die Küchenausstattung ist mangelhaft wenig Teller, keine Salatschüssel u. -schälchen, keine Käsereibe (in Italien...!), bei Ankunft 1 Weinglas, 3 Saftgläser u. 2 Espressotassen vorhanden, keine Abtrockentücher, keine Kaffeemaschine (am 3. Tag wurde uns dann eine bereits benutzte innen feuchte und verunreinigte Maschine für Kapseln hingestellt). Das vorhande Geschirr war durchweg unsauber, Töpfe und Pfannen sehr alt und zerkratzt, sehr unschön. Gasflasche zum Kochen fast leer. Grill sehr alt, Grillrost fehlte. Duscharmatur sehr verkalkt, Wasser lief nur spärlich heraus. Pool wurde in 2 Wochen nicht gereinigt oder gewartet, Wasser sollten wir selbst auffüllen. Im Garten ein Rohbau / Baustelle (Nebengebäude), sowie eine Müllhalde mit allerlei Unrat. Mülltonnen wurden in den 2 Wochen nicht entleert, besonders beim Biomüll sehr störend. Einige der Fenstergitter konnten nicht geöffnet werden, da keiner der Schlüssel passte. Es ist schade, wenn ein Objekt, welches von der Anlage her eigentlich gut ist, so lieblos geführt und nicht ausreichend instandgehalten wird. Und es ist schade, wenn die Hausbeschreibung unrealistisch übertrieben ist und die Fotos eine hochwertige Ausstattung vorgauckeln ( Möblierung, Bett-, Tischwäsche, Wohnraumtextilien) , die nicht den Tatsachen entspricht. Daher haben wir in dieser Bewertung ganz bewusst den Fokus auf das Haus selbst gelegt und verzichten darauf die Umgebung zu beschreiben.

Schöne Villa in ländlicher Lage

Die Villa liegt etwas abgelegen in einer ländlichen Gegend zwischen Oliven- und Obstplantagen. Wir haben dort zu dritt zwei schöne Wochen verbracht und die Villa bittet mehr als genug Platz. Es gibt zwei schöne Terrassen, plus den Poolbereich. Die Übergabe war unkompliziert und problemlos. Entfernung zu den kilometerlangen wunderschönen Stränden sind mit dem Auto ca. 10-20 min. entfernt. Wer einen schönen Urlaub abseits von Massentourismus sucht, ist diese Villa genau das Richtige.

Piana Grande house

We were rather late arriving at our agreed meeting place to be shown the way to the property due to delays at Catania. Our agent Mariaclara was very accommodating about this. We would never have found the house on our own. Be aware that it is down a very steep and rough track. The house is very nicely designed and has terraces all round with plenty of seating and tables. It does however overlook the SS115 beyond the orange groves and so there is traffic noise for most of the day. We felt that there could have been more provision of towels and perhaps a change of sheets as we were there 2 weeks. A better shower would also upgrade the property. We enjoyed our stay but felt improvements could be be made to enhance the experience.

Super verblijf

Geweldig huis op een afgelegen locatie te midden van olijfboomgaarden. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Fijn zwembad en rondom terrassen dus altijd zon of schaduw te vinden. Veel mooie stranden in de buurt en ook supermarkten op 10 minuten afstand.

Sehr schöne Urlaubswoche

Die Villa ist gemütlich eingerichtet, umgeben von einem schönen, gepflegten Garten und eingebettet in Obst- und Oliven-Plantagen. Es gibt mehrere überdachte Terrassen und viele Sitzmöbel. Wir haben die Abende und die Sonnenuntergänge hier genossen. Unweit von schönen Stränden wie Scala die Turchi oder Spiaggia Funcitedda gelegen (alle in ca. 20 min erreichbar), ist sie auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Besuche im Tal der Tempel Agrigento oder der Stadt Sciacca. In Sciacca kann man entspannt bummeln, einkaufen und wir haben 2x gut zu Abend gegessen. Führerscheinfrei Boote ausleihen kann man in San Leone, unweit von Agrigento. Die Kommunikation mit Francesco, dem Verwalter vor Ort, klappte prima. Ein defekt gegangenes Sitzmöbel wurde zum Beispiel sofort am nächsten Tag ersetzt. Alles in allem eine gelungene Urlaubswoche. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!

Perfect! A wonderful country house and close to amazing, unspoilt beaches

On arrival, we walked through an impeccably maintained, lush garden to this spacious house which was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. It was a pleasure to be welcomed by the charming owner, Salvatore, who is quite rightly proud of this wonderful villa and grounds. It's location is truly amazing, set amongst orange, lemon and olive groves and yet only 5-10 minutes drive from some of the loveliest beaches we have set foot on. Relaxing by the pool and surrounded by the beautiful garden Salvatore has created, was a joy. The design of the outside area are so well thought out - so many different spaces around the house to sit and enjoy this beautiful environment. And the nearby sandy beaches are not only spectacular but amazingly quiet (we were there in early June). Definitely recommend a visit to Eraclea Minoa Beach and the great restaurant there - the sea bass was exquisite and perfectly cooked. Our only regret was that we booked one week, we should have booked three! Thank you Salvatore for an idyllic stay and hope we might visit again.

Beautiful villa with spectacular view

We spent 5 days in this house ! We had a fabulous experience , you can walk down the hill and you can pick fresh oranges and lemons ! From here we went to Palermo , Agrigento’s Temples, Scala dei Turchi, Sciacca! Kids loved the swimming pool ! We fall in love for this place.

Corner of the paradise

The property has surpassed our expectations! From its location in the middle of an orange orchid to the noise of nature uninterrupted by human made sounds, it was a real corner of paradise. We highly recommend it!

Fantastically well presented villa within lovely quiet surroundings.

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday which Villa Camimello provided brilliantly. The owner was extremely helpful when we arrived and was always on hand if we needed anything throughout the week. The swimming pool was perfect for entertaining our four children and the nearby beaches were lovely and only a short drive away. We would highly recommend this Villa for anyone wanting to get away from it all and experience a true Sicilian experience.

romantisch abgelegen

Über eine ziemlich halsbrecherische Straße erreicht man das Ferienhaus, das zwischen Oliven-, Orangen-, Zitronen- und Feigenbäumen liegt. Wunderschön sind die Terrassen, die in alle Himmelsrichtungen gehen und man kann sich seinen Lieblingsplatz suchen. Wir waren nur zu zweit, da war die Ausstattung im Inneren in Ordnung, wir haben auch nicht gekocht. Bei Belegung mit vier Personen wird es allerdings etwas eng mit dem Geschirr, vor allem Gläser, Tassen und kleine Schüsseln (gar nicht vorhanden). Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Zu den Restaurants muss man immer fahren, fußläufig ist von dort nichts zu erreichen. Wer aber die Einsamkeit liebt und mal niemanden sehen und hören will, der ist dort genau richtig aufgehoben. Wir haben die Woche genossen.

Wunderschöne Villa in ruhiger Umgebung

Die Villa ist in einer ruhigen Gegend, eingebettet in Obstplantagen und mit einer tollen Aussicht. Die zwei grossen Terrassen (die grosse vollständig überdacht) sind ideal, die Ferien so richtig zu geniessen und feine italienische Spezialitäten zu kochen. Der Vermieter und seine Frau haben uns herzlich empfangen und haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir eine tolle Ferienwoche im September 2018 verbringen konnten. Gerne empfehlen wir dieses Ferienobjekt weiter. Grazie mille a Salvatore e sua moglie.

Skønne omgivelser og dejligt med pool til børnene

Et perfekt udgangspunkt for vores familie på 2 voksne og 3 børn, da vi skulle se den sydvestlige del af sicilien. God service fra ejerens side - der manglede nogle ting i huset og det kom han straks med.

Villa très agréable - bien équipée - piscine appréciée avec la chaleur - très belle vue, idéal pour passer des vacances au calme - merci au propriétaire de nous avoir permis de déguster figues et citrons du jardin.
